Looking for weights

helloo.

Im looking for some dumbells for home use as my gym dumbells only go up 20kg so I can only bench 40kg. I do have 2 bars so if it is easier I will buy the weights to go on. Im looking for weights upto 40kg so 20kg for each arm so I can fit in workouts at home on days I do not visit the gym.

Also would the dumbells weights fit onto a squat bar so I can do squats and deadlifts at home to but I surpose ide need more than 40kg for that :(

Does anyone know of any good sites? I checked ebay but P+P so expensive.
 
An olympic bar is normally 2inch circumference while a standard bar is 1inch so it depends on which weight plates you buy.

Have you tried your local newspapers in the classified ads,especially at this time of year after good intentions have gone people are always trying to get rid of gym equipment.

Might just buy the plastic sand filled weights as its only forhome use andile still be using the gyms weights aswell.
 
Isn't it expensive getting an array of weights just to bench press? You would be looking at 8 pairs of weights.

If the gym's only go as far as 20 Kg then it might be cheaper and better to look for another gym. You could also do the barbelll bench press and full barbell squats. There is no point breaking the bank just to get 8 expensive pairs of weights.
