LongWayToGo Journal: I need to lose an extra person!

Hey there Leia! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving the lovely note on my journal. I get so discouraged and people like you really make this less lonely for me.

It is wonderful that you have lots 14 pounds all ready! I think that one's jeans feeling looser is one of the most amazing feelings ever!

You are welcome. And hearing I'm not the only one struggling and working past it is encouraging to me. We are not alone and we can become what we want to be. :) Yes!!! I put a pair on today and they fit nicely. I haven't been able to put that size on comfortably in well maybe 5 years. :)

Thanks!!! I keep telling the hubby that Lisa is disappearing and I don't think I told him who she is...the extra person...LOL! He said "Whose Lisa?"
 
Ok people...I have an update. Are you ready? I lost more (2 more pounds) and have started eating fruit. You know fruit...that stuff that usually sits in my frig and rots. Who knew it helps you feel full so you don't eat a bag of Doritos? hehehehee

My mom reminded me that I had told her two weeks before I started here my weight was 3 pounds higher...so I'm going to change my ticket to reflect that. So I really started at 305 and that would make me down 19. OMG!!!!!

Hi Leia! You are doing great! I ate an apple today, they usually rot in my fridge too! These little changes are going to help us!
 
Eats lots of veggies too! Fruit is of course a better choice than candy, chocolates, or in your case Doritos, but it does still have a good amount of sugar. Once in a while try to eat some carrots too, I find the little bags of baby carrots are great because they require no prep!

You are doing great! Keep eating that fruit :)
 
I also brought some fruit and veggies into my life today!! It's amazing how satisfying they can be, I was eating a pear, and said "why don't I eat these, this is absolutely delicious."

Great progress! Keep up the amazing work! :)
 
Congrats on the new weight loss AND on getting some fruit in your diet! That's one of the toughest parts of this whole thing. Kicking out the junk food to make room for the healthy food. Keep at it! :)
 
Nice, Leia! I have added fruit to my diet too: one serving of fruit juice and two pieces of fresh fruit. Good luck, and keep it up. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and are doing well!
