That is after the mods asked everyone to tone down their posts of course

I haven't seen anything too bad lately except people insulting and provoking Gas, something I have been working on improving. If you think it is too bad now and that the little vulgarity that is on the forum now needs to be moved into a separate section I think that would be moderating way too heavily. We can't expect everyone to pretend they are writing an academic essay in all their posts, it would kill the personal feel of the forum. The way I see it, some vulgarity should just be left around the boards, as long as it doesn't get too bad it is OK. And for the very heavy stuff that is offencive, we should delete it instead of letting it flourish in its own section.

and I'm sorry if I stirred a hornets nest :(. I was just wondering if there was any feedback on the suggestion. Personally, I can handle the vulgarity, I simply choose to ignore it. I can accept that there is a level of vulgarity here, and on the web. I know Evo, told people to tune it down and the edits, and that seems to be all that was necessary to take it down a few notches.

I'll just keep my mouth shut.......

Gotfit i like your style :D Anybody who doesnt mind a bit of harmless vulgarness deserves a rep from me ;)
 
I don't really think this is an issue over vulgarity anymore. As others have said, it has stopped. I think this is more an issue over people's personal views and agendas. Why don't we just move on? Things should settle down eventually. I hope.
