Okay boys, here's the deal:

for starters, I'm only 17, and I play a lot of Ultimate frisbee & soccer. Now that I've introduced myself here's my problem:

I work my abs every other day using a program by Tamilee Webbs and by now it feels like I have really strong abs, I've been doing it for a month, my problem ist hey have no definition. It's like, if I breathe allll the way out and flex I can -kind- of see it begining to form, but it's as though the whole thing is under a 1/3inch layer of skin and nomatter how hard I try I can't get it off!

Here is my diet:

Morning: 2packs of oatmeal, 1glass of xtra pulpy OJ

Lunch: left-overs from Dinner, the night before (see below)

Dinner: Usually stirfried vegetables & pork, one of my most common dishes is stirfried carrot slices, pepper slices, & pork medallions. Another common dish is egg fried tomatos. Also, squash is another staple I eat a lot. I eat about 2-3cups of those things for dinner every night, along w/ a cup of cooked white rice.

The challenge: What is the fastest way to get rid of this 1/3layer of skin?? What exercises should I do, how many of each one, and how often? :D

--told you it was a loaded question ^_^

It's not your exercises, it's your diet. They're already there, but not showing so instead of doing a thousand more crunches to define them, you need to lose the layer of fat on top of them. Read the sticky on nutrition. At a glance, I can say that you should eat more regularly, cut the OJ, drop the fried anything, swap white rice for brown and watch the pork. That's a very brief and sloppy overview of what might help, without getting into the exercise routine.

If you're drinking pop then quit. Six packs are about 70% due to diet and cardio. Just keep your ab training consistent and do some more cardio. The best cardio I've done is jump roping. 45 minutes of that will burn about 650 calories or something close to that. That's how long I used to jump rope, taking a 5 minute break every 5 minutes. I did that daily, and I got in insanely good shape and saw some abs pretty quick!
