well im weighn myself Today but THATS not the good news

Last night i put on my size 16 jeans and THEY FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i say they fit they were a lil snug on the stomach but otherwise ok:) Im delighted, i went for a few drinks last night with my sisters in 1 of their houses, i stuck with the wine and when they got a take away i was brilliant i said no even though they kept saying "have some chips" im SO proud of me

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks a lot im THRILLED with how well its going, im feeling so healthy. im 4 pounds off my 1st goal and two weeks to do it in, so will have to push it hard this and next week but hopefully will be worth it:)
 
wow you are going great guns, good to see you holding back when you went out.

well i kinda had to it was my weigh day the next day and i didnt want it showing up on the scales, TBH i thought the drink would make the scales show i was the same and i was prepared for it.

Im going away next weekend(friday) to the in laws(or future in laws lol) so im going to go to the gym every day till then, ive a bad feeling that im going to plateu soon so im going to try push myself this week

just back from the gym had a great workout im EXHAUSTED i feel so fab after it, tell ya it feels like such a victory to be able to come home wreaked ha ha:)

Will be weighing myself fri morn next week as we are leaving fri afternoon so ill let you know how i get on then xxxxxxxxxxx

138lbs. Start weight of 238lbs, and target weight of 100lbs

-- What is the time frame for reaching your target weight?
well i have certian goals id like to reach, id love to be 196 lbs by christmas (6 months time) and ive already lost 17 lbs so another 25 pounds to go.

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
i am counting my calories and going to the gym 5 times a week

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
My whole familys behind me and my friends too and my fiance diets with me and works out with me hes great

-- How realistic is your goal?
well my 1st goal was to be 217 pounds by june 28th and thats two weeks away and iv 4lbs left
my 2nd goal is to be 210 pounds by july 26th
my 3rd goal is to be 203 by october 14th (my bday)
And id love to be 196 by christmas
So i think my goals are pretty reliastic im leaving room for plateus and bad weeks

-- When will you start?
I started 5 weeks ago and i feel so much better in myself and the change in my fitness is unbelievable.I hope i can keep it up for the sake of my health

Just a ramdom scribble

While in bed last night, struggling to sleep and listenin to the fiance snoring beside me i reliased something. When i first met him in 2004 i was 11 stone (154 lbs) and i was PERFECTLY happy with my weight. And i was 3 stone overweight and a size 12- 14

And at my debs 6 months earlier (Debs is the irish version of the Prom) i was 10 stone (140 lbs) and i thought i was skinny and i was a size 12.

So where im getting the impression i need to be 100 lbs ive no idea cos i was PERFECTLY happy at 154 lbs

But sure we will see what happens

Its Tuesday, one of my normal gym days off, and i have to go today(and thurs) cos im going away this weekend so im going all week so i wont miss my gym days

But i just need some motovation to go- A kick up the ass so to speak!

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just go and get it out of the way. Think about it...if you don't go you are going to be miserable because you didn't do what you said you would.

It's only a short time out of the day... grab your shit and just start going... dont think about anything else that might give you a "logical" reason not to go.

You can do it. You will be thankful you did at the end of the week when you are looking a tad bit better in the mirror :)

EDIT- started my period but im glad cos i didnt want to have them for my friends bday next week

Last week i was 100.5kg and now im 100.8kg:angelsad2:

I am on my periods and i had eaten 2 meals when i weighed myself but that wouldnt have made any difference. Basically me pushing myself to the gym every day this week was a giant waste of time

I just feel like giving up:( This is what i was hoping wouldnt happen im the kind of person if i see little or no progress(or worse going backwards) i want to just give up

Don't give up! It's probably water retention or bloat because of your period. You've done a great job so far! Congratulations on all you've accomplished and all the support from your family and fiance.
 
DON'T STOP WHATEVER YOU DO!! You know that your losing. You've lost a fair amount of weight so far. There will be weeks you lose, and weeks you gain. What matters is the long-term change. You know that what your doing is helping, you've already seen some improvement. Keep going at it girl!!

I have only lost about 6 lbs in 3 months...so your situation is nothing new to me. I gained 4 lbs before I even started losing. Don't worry and don't let it get to you too much. Start taking measurements!!!!!! That way, if you don't lose any weight, you can always fall back on losing inches :)

One month, I lost NO weight, but I lost 1.25 inches off my waist!!

Back too the grindstone

well well Back too the grindstone, found the gym easy today though i am WREAKED after it:) just had a gorge tuna salad for Lunch Y U M M E R S

Still on my periods so wont be weighing myself till they are gone(which should be this wed) but ill hold off on till saturday - Saturday was menta be the date i reached my 1st goal of 217 (222 now) so doubt ill do it, but as my fiance says "Stranger things have happened":)

Its my own fault anyway I should have pushed harder in the gym last week:nopity:
 
I have a hard time getting up and going to the gym too! I agree the best way to think about it is "get it over with" - I have a hard time enjoying the day because i beat myself up mentally if I don't make it to the gym!

Don't get discouraged, I busted my ass in the gym for 3 months and only lost 4 pounds - but I stuck with it and now I can see subtle changes in my body and you will too!

You're doing great, keep at it and you will see results!
 
hehe I hate the period, it always makes me gain 6lb over like 2 days until i drop it again several days later :)
