Calories for 4/19

Breakfast: none- my class for today was cancelled so I got to sleep in
Lunch: burrito with black beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, and salsa, also some green beans and squash- approx. 600 calories
Snack: apple- 80 calories
Dinner: again, its a bunch of random stuff the cafeteria had lol- broccoli, black beans, a little bit of cream of spinach soup with 6 saltines, and a bowl of cereal- approx. 600 calories
Total: 1280 calories

Thanks M2M, I'm hoping I have a good weigh in tomorrow for the challenges.

Tonight I only did 2 miles on the track. I have a 5 page philosophy paper due tomorrow that I haven't started yet. This is usually how schoolwork goes for me. I am the BIGGEST procrastinator I know. Seriously. lol. But yeah, I felt like I needed to go to the track, but I only did 2 miles so that I could get back here and start my paper (I probably wont start it for another 2 hours though lol).

Total miles: 45.7

I think I might change my goal to 100 miles, rather than 200, cause my feet are in desperate need of a pedicure lol. And I should be able to finish 100 miles before I go home for summer (I want to get a pedicure in Houston, not the small town I am in for school).
 
Oh man, tonight is another night where I wish I had my mom here to tell me to GET TO WORK. I am starting to stress out over this paper (that I should be working on now, rather than being on here lol). I know I will get it done and I will probably get an A or B on it, but I hate this feeling of stress - and I dont have to feel this way, if I would just STOP PROCRASTINATING.

UGH!!!!!! LOL
 
I fared okay with the paper. I was up until about 1 not doing much lol so I decided to go to sleep and get up at 5 to finish......it is now 6:30 and I am finished lol. I amaze even myself sometimes lol. Its like I put it off for SOOOOOO long and then when I finally actually just sit down and do it it only takes me an hour or two to pop out a 5 page paper. Ahhh, maybe I can go back to sleep for a while now before my class at 9.

I weighed in today at 243.3. yesterday I weighed 242.2, so I think I will probably have a big loss next week cause I dont think I actually weight 243.2, its just fluids and such in me (now im jinxing myself). Oh well lol, its still a good loss of 2.3lbs.
 
lol I need to start writing more in this thing and less in other people's journals, at least leave the long winded stuff out of others'. It's just I guess I don't think of topics to talk about on my own....they just kind of come up in other journals lol. Oh well........

I think my paper went pretty well, I wont know for a week or so what grade "pretty well" translates to though lol.

I realized last night that I am really starting to love my nightly walks. I just blare my headphones and get lost in my own little world. I have learned, though, that I have a hard time keeping track of how many laps I have done on the track, so I started putting pennies in one of my pants pockets and every lap I move one penny over to the other pocket. This way if I know that I want to do 3 miles, I just put 12 pennies in my pocket and can easily keep track. It has worked out well so far. The bad news is that my knee is starting to bother me again. This one knee has always bothered me, particularly ever since a few years ago when I stood up one time and kind of turned my body, but my knee seemed to pop out of place :eek: and the top part of my leg went with my body and the bottom part didn't. It was VERY painful, but it popped right back in place as soon as I turned my upper leg back, so I never went to the doctor. But, since then my knee gives me problems from time to time. It is on the inside part of my leg and can get quite painful just walking....so, depending on how it feels later, I may give it a day off from my nightly walk :( .
 
I feel really good now. I just walked 5 miles....I have never walked that far before (at least not intentionally)

This past weekend went pretty well diet-wise. Last night I probably went a little over with the calories, but i'm not too worried about it. I went to this thing my school has put on by the indian cultural awareness club where they have a talent show and feed you indian food. I had never had indian food and I dont know how it is w/ calories, but it was pretty yummy lol. Especially the dessert........oh wow was it good lol. It was a fried ball thingy that was soaking in a syrup..........mmmmmmmmmm yummy lol. So I had 2 of those which probably were WAY up there with the calories and I had some rice and curry stuff. I didn't over over-eat, just ate a little too much. But, as I said before, i'm not too worried cause it was my first opportunity to try indian food, and I enjoyed it.

Here are my calories for today (so far)
Breakfast: zone bar- 200 calories
Lunch- some vegetarian thing with hummus, pita bread, couscous, olives, etc.... approx. 400 calories
Snack: apple- 80 calories
kashi cookie- 130 calories
Dinner: cottage cheese, 2 cookies, part of this vegetarian thing with too many ingredients to list lol- approx. 700 calories
Total: 1510 calories

Congrats on 4 miles at the track,I love walking and it really
does do the trick,it works alot of your body parts not just
legs like I thought when I 1st started.Hope you have a nice day Tammy

Thanks :) I really do love trying new foods, I just dont get the chance very often. Being a vegetarian kind of limits that, but if there is something I really want to try, I will, even if it is meat.

lunch: cottage cheese, refried beans, and some squash- approx. 450 calories
Snack: apple- 80 calories
kashi cookie- 130 calories
Dinner: cereal (mix of bran and frosted flakes with skim milk) and some guacamole with a few fritos- not the healthiest dinner, but tonight they REALLY didnt have a lot to offer at the cafeteria. Approx calories: 600
Total: 1460 calories

Hey! yeah its been a pretty good day so far. Meals here are always a lottery lol, especially since I'm a vegetarian. I looked at the menu for tonight online and none of it sounds appealing. Hopefully they will have bean soup.....I love me some bean soup lol :) . But yeah.....thats why I always end up with weird random food (guacamole, spinach, and cereal????). It keeps things interesting though, searching the cafeteria far and wide...hehe.


Its gross here today :( we have a tornado watch until 11pm, so I wont be able to go do my walk that I have come to love :(
