Wow, I forgot what caffeine can do to people! I stopped drinking it about 3 weeks ago (I have made a few exceptions where I allow myself a diet coke), but this morning I had an energy drink because I had to get up at 4A.M to study, and wheeeee I have all kinds of energy! lol. I have been dancing around while I read my notes studying lol.....well I guess I better get back to those notes (I had to stop in here to do my weigh in for the challenges) wish me luck on my test! im not too worried about it, but these tests are always tricky (Sociology of Religion). Bye!

Well the test went ok (i think), it was really tricky though, which I expected. I came home for the weekend, and somehow (though im not sure thats its humanly possible) I have eaten at 4, yes thats right, 4 restaurants in less than 24 hours. I went out to eat with my family when I got home, then my friend wanted me to come up to her work with some friends while she was working and just get something like a dessert there. So I went there and shared a dessert, plus my friend gave us free queso lol, so i had to eat some. THEN we stayed until my friend got off work but she was hungry then. So we went to another restaurant, but she didnt want to be the only one eating, so she made me get an appetizer that she paid for. I got fried mac and cheese, which i thought would be delicious, but surprisingly I didnt like it! then she made me share ANOTHER dessert with her. I know I am using the word "made" in the wrong way lol, but these are very persuasive people. So that was last night- 3 restaurants in 1 night. Today we went out shopping and then went to Kona Grill to get sushi. I had never had sushi before, and now I can honestly say I will never have it again. It wasn't horrible, it just wasnt great to me. and it all tasted a little fishy, which i dont like. So since I didnt eat much of the sushi, my friends encouraged me to get a dessert (they were both getting one), so I got a macadamia nut pie dessert thing which was actually a reasable portion, so it wasnt too bad. To sum my story up lol, I have discovered that I do not like fried mac and cheese or sushi, and I have eaten WAY too many desserts. But now my friends are busy for the rest of the weekend, so I will be eating healthily, so hopefully I can make up for my lack of discipline thus far.

I have done good then topped the week off with pizza delivery and easter candy so I know the feeling. I am going to enjoy a nice Easter dinner with the family and desert without the guilt then Monday back to bootcamp lol!

Well this whole weekend was bad lol. Today I ate a little bit of easter candy (then I gave the rest to my brother) and then I went out to eat at Macaroni Grill (where another one of my friends works lol). So, overall this weekend was a complete failure lol, but i'm okay with that cause I feel really inspired and prepared to have a good week this week. I'm going to kick it into serious serious mode for the next 4 1/2 weeks to see how much I can lose before I go home for the summer- my goal is 15lbs.
 
I think you've got a great shot at 3.5 a week

I think that if your young enough and you work hard enough you can do up to 5 a week.

Thanks Taralee! I actually hadn't worked out a number in my head for pounds per week I would need to lose, but 3.5 seems do-able, I guess it all just depends on what my body decides to do. I am getting very serious though for the next few weeks just to see what my body is capable of. I havent had a time yet really where I was eating REALLY healthily and exercising daily. The last few weeks my eating has gone downhill, but I have been exercising a little more. But before when I wasnt exercising at all, I was eating really healthily. So I am curious about what will happen if I really stick to both. I guess it will be an experiment.

Breakfast: Zone bar- 200 calories
Lunch-black beans, lettuce with red wine vinegar and some green olives, and an apple- approx. 300 calories
Snack- Kashi cookie- 130 calories
Total thus far: 630 calories
 
Dinner: mixed vegetables, a little bit of cottage cheese, pinto beans, tiny bit of salad- approx. 300 calories
Total thus far: 930 calories

Thanks for all the encouragement :) .....I cant wait to travel. I want to travel all over Asia and Africa someday, but for this trip I think I will just be in Europe. Its good to see other vegetarians on here. I have almost forgotten that I am one lol, it just is so natural now to avoid meat. I have learned to love beans lol, especially mexican style bean soup- yummy :) lol. well I look forward to seeing you around the board. You should start your own diary on here :) .

Oh I forgot to put that last night I went to the gym and did some weight training. I also did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the bike. Total of 3.25 miles for the night....soo....

Total miles towards pedicure: 36.70 miles
 
i love that you're mileage is going towards a pedicure :) all those miles on your tootsies they will deserve the treat :)

lol thats what I am thinking. I've only had one pedicure before, but it was wonderful, so I cant wait for this one. I'm aiming for getting it right when I get home from school- so about 4 weeks.

Ugh, I had a test today, so as usual I put off studying until absolutely the LAST minute. My roomate and I decided that we need a new word to describe what I do, because procrastinate doesnt cover it. I got up at 4a.m. to start studying (there were 2 books on the test, neither of which I had read). So I studied this morning all the way until 11a.m when I took the test. I think I did okay on it, but my procrastinating definitely didnt work to my advantage this time (sometimes it ends up working out great and I get As). Anyways, I am exhausted. But I dont have anything else due for the week, so it kind of feels like the weekend is beginning already, which is nice.

I noticed today that my size 20 jeans which used to be really tight (almost unwearable) are starting to fit me better. There is some slack material in the back of them and I dont feel like im being cut in half in the waist. I would love to be in a size 16 by the end of the summer. Thats what I wore for most of high school.
