Bleh, TOM is definitely going to show up any day now. I have had major carb cravings today. I think I have stayed under 1500 calories, but just barely. My dinner was a disaster, but luckily I didnt eat much else today. I am expecting to not lose this week because of this and the way I ate this past weekend when I was home.
 
Ohhh, seeing how clothes fit differently is a HUGE non scale victory!

That is more important to me in the long run because I'm always annoyed at the scales...but I can line up old clothes and visually see the difference!

You'll make those size 16's in no time!
 
Hey, I see you are in college--I'm thinking.. what's your major? I'm an English Major and based on your post above, I would guess you were too, but I guess you have to read for any class, so.. just thought I'd ask.

Also, it's nice finding our clothes fitting looser on our bodies where ever it might be. I tend to lose my fatty back thigh a little before anything so I am seeing some reductions there.

yeah, i cant wait to see my size 22's and compare them to size 16's. I used to think 16's were so big, but now when I look at them I cant wait to wear them. But yes, I was really excited to see the extra fabric in the back.

It is a very cool way to look and mark the passage of progress! I saw someone here do it when I first joined and I thought "I am SO going to do that!"

I am double majoring in Philosophy and Sociology, but my test today was for history. I loved English in high school and I really want to take some English classes here if I have time.

I hope I lose my fatty back thigh first! it seems like my upper half is beating my lower half lol. All my shirts are a lot looser, but my hips and thighs havent changed as much.

yes i saw the pictures! they were awesome! I would love to be able to put on 2 or 3 pairs of jeans over each other.


Lol I decided that rather than trying to resist TOM's demands on my diet, I would just get some chocolate to try to subdue these massive cravings. I got a package of the Hersheys Kissables- 210 calories for the bag which isnt bad, cause there is a lot of chocolate in there. I also have been craving soda all day so I went ahead and got a Diet Coke. I dont drink soda much anymore, so i figure it probably wont hurt anything, my addiction to it is gone and its diet so it wont be adding any calories.
 
Hey, just checking in. It looks like you have that whole vegetarian thing down pat. Thats very cool!! I understand procatination, I think its my middle name. I am sooo trying to stop, but I keep putting that off too..lol...

Congats, on the progress you have made so far, It does feel good when clothes start to feel loose. I know it is a major incentive to keep going.

By the way, What part of texas are you in? I am in texas too....I mean if you want to post it. Just curious..

Thanks for checking in! My hometown is Houston, but I go to school in Dallas. what part are you from?

I think the exam went okay. Even if I did horribly on it I can still pull of a B in the class, so thats a comfort lol. It felt like the weekend started yesterday after I finished the test, so I am trying to keep myself in school mode for 2 more days! lol.

lol yes, just one more day now that I have had my one class for today. Its funny, I thought that the end of the semester was going to be so easy because I dont have that many tests and papers, but i have been busier this week than I have been all semester! Its kind of nice to be busy though. I dont realize how much time I waste doing NOTHING lol until I have to cram things into my day.
Schedule for today * means I already did it
1.Read for my class today *
2.go to class lol *
3.go to meeting (my school is having this thing this weekend where possible students for next year stay the night in a dorm and I volunteered my room, so we had to go and listen to a bunch of rules- apparentally we arent allowed to get our campers drunk- who woulda thunk it?) *
4.Work on a project I have to do in order to study abroad- I have a meeting later with my partner (we are both going to Scotland) we have to put together a huge paper and a powerpoint presentation. I havent started yet lol.
5.Go to my work study for 2 hours
6.Go to a lecture on the possibility of time travel- I have to go for my philosophy class in order for my lowest quiz grade to be dropped, but it sounds like an interesting lecture.
7.Meet with my study abroad partner and work on the paper/powerpoint
8. Read for my class tomorrow

lol I know none of yall actually want to know all this, but it actually helped me organize it all in my head. This is definitely one of the busiest days ive had in a while. lol yet I am still on here and just browsing the internet and chatting with friends....I really have a problem lol. Oh i forgot to put exercise in my list of things to do today. I really need to do that tonight, I have put it off the last 2 nights. I hope yall are having a less stressful day than I am!

lol yes it is (as i find myself on here yet again). Bad, bad Lisa! I swear I dont know how I have made it this far in college without my mom pestering me to get things done.

hahaha this is the 2nd time I have done this. I really need to learn how to read these labels. Its 210 for half the package, 420 for the whole package :eek: oh well lol, i ate the whole package last night so there is nothing I can do about it now. Gosh I cant believe that is the 2nd time I have messed something up like that lol. I am waiting for these cravings to go away. I guess I never really noticed how bad cravings get before TOM because before I would eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, so I couldnt really tell a difference when I had cravings. Even if I dont lose this week, if I can just maintain I will be happy.

This day is getting closer to an end and I am soo relieved. I am about to go to the lecture on the possibility of time travel, I am actually kind of excited about it. Sometimes we get really good guest speakers. Today actually the Texas Supreme Court came to my school and heard 2 cases. I didnt get to go because I had a class at the time and its the one class that I CANNOT miss if I want to do decent on tests.

M2M..your 10 yr old is going through the not liking mom stage already?? ugh, mine just turned 9...i'm counting the days till I have to go through it:eek:

Wow! Good for you. I had to take a Socio class for my Associates Degree when I got it in 2000, and I hated the professor. He was a chauvinistic PIG. Basically said that all women needed to be seen and not heard and live beneath all men etc.
