Lisa's Final Countdown, The Good Days, the Bad, & the Ugly

I am so glad you are back! I hope you are feeling better, and your puppy is SOOOOO cute. And I love the name Lilly!

..that you can make friends on here but you can never really be sure who you're talking to...

...or in some cases we get upset about things on the forum... I questioned if I wanted to keep visiting because this idiot who I debated with reviewed my journal for personal dirt and used it against me in another unrelated thread. I must admit I was highly upset...

Amen to that! I'm still dealing with some hard feelings I have due to a WLF member a few months ago and find it hard to log on here at times too... she has the balls to continue to make back handed comments to this day! But I just remember the few of you who TRULY support me and it makes me miss the place. :)

Glad to see you're back Lisa... you were missed!

I was just on Kitty Wars because of that link for half an hour. Thanks, Trops! haha

Thanks Paula :) I did. It's been crazy at work though because with all the girls going home I had to take my hours at other houses when I could get them. So I've had my days off broke up and working all different shifts. But I had Christmas day off so I can't complain too much. I'll be happy when the holidays are over though.

So on a different note, I've lost two pounds the last two weeks. I've done nothing different but take my metformin regularly, which I wasn't doing when I wasn't watching my diet or checking in here. Just shows how ineffecient pcos makes my body at dealing with fat, that a pill could counter act the effects. Wish I could take credit for hard work but like I said, I've done nothing else different.

Guessing this forum will be pretty busy after the first with all of us logging in more regularly and a ton of newcomers :)

Congratulations with losing weight over the holidays!! I myself have gained (but most of it is probably salt and water!) but people like you amaze me!

That is crazy that a pill can really change so much without changing your diet. I wish that were the case with me. What did you end up doing for Christmas and how was your day off?

Talk to you soon and congrats on the loss!

Hey Lisa, I've got a bunch of pages to read to catch up, but I just wanted to pop in and say congrats on the 2 lbs, glad you had a good xmas, happy new year, and you still rock. ;)

Hi Lisa :) long time no see....i am actually blushing by how spectacularly i fell off the wagon! Oh dear...lol

Anyway, hope youhad a great New Year! happy wishes for 2009:D

Allie xx

The good thing about this forum is that virtually all of the people that **poof** disappear find their way back here eventually. And no one seems to hold any grudges as we've all found ourselves taking breaks from dieting and/or the forum. Lisa, how did your new years go?
