Lisa, Great job on the weight loss! Don't stress about the Chinese Food or the Fried Chicken. A girl's got to have fun sometimes! Just resolve to be "good" most of the time and you will be all right. Keep giving yourself rewards ... you are worth it!


Hey another person I haven't seen in a minute :) Thanks for coming by and encouraging me. And yea the perm I rewarded myself with last week turned out great :D Funny how something like that can make me feel so much better about myself, including the fact I'm working on my weight. So how's stuff goin on your end?

And Kristi, I read your post and I think I just went over to your journal and responded but if not sorry. I've been tired lately and very scattered but thanks so much for taking the time to post. And I hear you about the every day little stuff becoming a big deal. My hubby and I balance eachother out to a point too but then our seperate little quirks drive eachother nuts, lol.

No, I never got it =(. Not yet! I'm holding out for one more week! Then I'm going to have a day or two off of raw vegan. Thats when I'm hittin my chinese joint up for some food! :D

In good portions that is ^_^. Rice never killed anyone!
 
Yep just away on vacation. Seems there is a lot of that going around. Haven't seen a few people here in a while. Looks like you are doing awesome. That's great that your pants as getting so loose. You'll be at goal before you know it.

Wow...that's some awesome willpower :) Nice work. Well we see how good I did holding out on chinese food so I admire you have stuff you're planning and sticking to it. I think I need to work on that...put myself off on some of the not so healthy food by telling myself I can have it but set a time frame of when...that way I'm controling the food, not the other way around. I like that idea :D Sounds alot different from "I can't have this food".....sounds more like I'm telling the food "I'll tell YOU when I'll have you! Not the other way around! I'm boss here!". Sorry I'm silly tired :D But this all makes sense to me at the moment in a very humorous way, lol.

That's actually exactly the way that I look at it too. Sometimes it helps to look at cravings like a whiny child that wants it way. It feels good sometimes to tell it, "NO! For the third time today, NO means NO!" hahaha!

lmao!! I'm have that image in my head next I get a craving, lol. So how you doin today Kristi? I was just working my way down to your journal to check in :) Oh and I've been taking my metformin and vitamins 3 or 4 days now and suddenly feels like they're working...I had energy today!!! Take into consideration the fact it was also first day of TOM and that never happens, lol. Unfortunately I'm still suffering from lack of sleep and used up that burst of energy helping clean at work...wish it'd been my house instead :X
 
Yea maybe I SHOULD be feeling more guilty :X lol But something is working....I was trying to walk around campus today and I had to keep pullin my pants up. I'm definitely starting to feel better all the way around and I had the amazing thought today that this hasn't been painful, the time is going by anyway, and I'm making progress. Still seems too good to be true.
OH it's not TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!! This is what is your destiny.....YOU are MEANT TO ATTAIN your GOALS!!! You work hard, get results.......and YOU DESERVE THEM!!!

Well I'm still tracking on fitday but I ate dinner when I got to work so didn't post my final calories on here...which were only 1,490 :)

Today I've had dinner and I'm sitting at 1,530. I need a nap really bad but then I need to get up and study so I'll probably get snack later. Luckily nothing bad to tempt me so I'll probably get some fruit or a salad which still won't add too much on calories.

Last two days I'm way below my BMR and my goal of 2,000-2,100 a day but today I had more energy than I had in a while and I haven't been overly hungry so can't be bad. I figure days I am lower like the last two will just balance out for if I cut it close later in the week.

Like I posted earlier, I'm really starting to feel better and have increased energy so I must be doin something right. I think it's a combination of adding vitamins (including the iron) to eating healthier and increasing my activity. Can't wait to weigh in on Friday :D

Lisa, You WILL reach your goal, it WILL happen because you deserve it. I am a firm believer in the concept of karma. You are a good person, so this good thing will happen for you...

ZOMG!!! Holy CRAP!!!! My weigh in days are Friday so I weighed myself today two days early just out of curiosity. 328.8

I'VE LOST FOUR MORE POUNDS!!!!!

I'm shocked...I'm having better results than on any strict diet, I'm not having horrible cravings or starving myself or beating myself up...and it hasn't even been a full week and I've lost FOUR more pounds?

Total calories for today: 1997
Not as low as the last two days but still under my goal range so that's ok :) Well gotta go hook up my computer now because hubby wants his back.

Looks like your doing great with your calories and staying very postive. 10lbs down in the last two weeks is very impressive. Your doing terrific!
