Hey, thanks for stopping by...day two (three for me here in NZ) was good, did the C25k run this morning am in week 4 and very proud of myself for being able to run a total of 16min now and even able to sprint at the end...woohoo.

Food on track, better calories today, about 1600....so with the exercise that is still a restriction of 1000cals for today.

Feeling a little under the weather, think I am getting a head cold...hopefully it goes away.

On the positive I stepped on the scale today....and quite a big loss was looking back at me...will see if that stays consistent for weigh in day!

lol i feel silly for asking... but what is the C25k?!?
hopefully you are feeling a bit "over" rather than "under"
the weather now^^ have a lovely day!

It is a running programme designed to get you from the couch to running 5k in 9 weeks....Couch to 5k (c25K)

don't feel silly for asking as I didn't know about it until coming here.

Feeling heaps better now, so hopefully have fought of whatever was hoping to catch me...:)

45min of exercise to do today to make my 4hours...this week has been absolutely hectic, so feeling proud for getting there.

Up to week 5 on the C25K next week....eeek by the end of that week I have to run for 20min.....it's a wee bit scary...:)

Your doing amazing!!!! it's working and keep it up LILLY!!! I am so happy for you and glad were on the same journey together... we will do this...

I am really proud of myself, this week has been one of those weeks that previously would have led me to making excuses as to why exercise was impossible and eating well was just to hard...'too tired'...'no time' come to mind. But I just squeaked in with my 4 hours exercise this week, so that is great, and eating has been good. I lost 3.4lbs...that is great too!

Hihi Lilly..

Congratulations on your 3.40 lbs weight loss!!!
I also saw you have the highest score of the challenge now.. Congratulations with that too!

(I saw you have added 20 point to Diary posting, but your forgot me... *cries* Hope you will write me someday..... =P)

Good luck on your 2nd week challenge!

Well things going great so far this week...this is another busy week, but hey that is the reality of my profession and my family life, I have finally come to realise that being 'too busy' or 'too tired' is no longer a valid excuse and for my own well-being I need to exercise daily and I need to eat well.

Did 30min on elliptical this morning...going up a level every 3 min and then down again until reaching 30 min.

Just finished 45min on my stationery bike...up a level every 2 min until levels 6/7 and 8, stayed up on those levels for 4-5min each and then back down, until finally doing some sprints on level 3 and 2....sweated like a pig but so worth it!

I totally did not feel like doing any exercise tonight, but once I get started it is like a total surge of energy....woohooo.

So have burned a total of 1000cal today just in exercise alone....wow I amaze myself!

Total exercise hours this week (monday and Tuesday): 1hr 50min

Week still going well, got another hour of exercise in today, and 30min yesterday, so almost finished the 4 hours. Eating well...everything just ticking along nicely, after my big loss last week I am not expecting a loss this week, but that is good, a slow process is a good process as long as the weight stays off for good!

I do it at home as I am lucky enough to have a exercise bike and an elliptical....I have some small weights, a swiss ball, a skipping rope, resistance band, pilates mat and a heavier weight...and of course stairs to climb up....I just create my own little circuit...making sure I flip between cardio and strength...thanks for stopping by!!:seeya:

That is really awesome tha tyou do that:)And it seems to work:)!!!Great job:hug2:

:seeya: HI Lilly!! I was reading a couple of your first pages. And I could agree with you when it caomes to food. I know about all the healthy foods and protion sizes, etc.. I just cant help myself. I always tend to go the bad way. LOL!

But you are doing a Great job on your weightloss. You keep Positive! And dont forget to drink your WATER!!

Well everything is going well...man how things have changed, it is the weekend and not a treat or takeaway in sight...gotta love it!

I occasionally get cravings for chocolate, that seems to be the main craving, but it is easy enough to force myself to work through it when I think how much closer I am not to my goal.

I have set a mini goal for the 23 of march to be 171lbs (78kg)....this means I need to lose about 2lbs a week as I have two weeks....but my long term goal just seemed to far away. I would love to be in the 160's for my birthday at the end of this month.

I am finally fitting into some of my old clothes...am a big size 12 here (which I think is 8 or 10 American...not sure) so my old shorts are starting to fit, and that is great! If I keep working hard over the next few weeks I should be a regular 12 according to our New Zealand sizing. Last time I lost all my weight I got down to a small 12, or 10 at times (which I think is 6 or 8 American)

I have never been busier, and am so proud that even though this busy lifestyle would have previously meant lots of fast food or comfort food, that this time around despite how difficult it is at times, I am finding time to cook, and time to look after myself....so important when you spend all day being the boss at work...you can forget to look after yourself as you are always taking on the issues of others and solving their problems.

This time the weight is coming of slowly (it took me about 10 weeks to lose my 30lbs last time, far too fast!) and because the weight is coming of because of healthy changes I am confident I can keep it off! The real key for me is weighing myself every day, this way I keep myself accountable for any slip ups and it is easier to keep track and manage my weight.

O.K. did my sunday circuit workout...it looked like this:

1.Stepper with arm weights
2. Stair running - 130 steps
3. Sprint training on bike - 5 sprint intervals
4 Stair running - 130 steps
5 Hill climb on elliptical for 6mins to finish off

30min total...whew what a workout my pulse was racing, but well worth it!

Well have not posted for a while...just no time to do the 6 week challenge posting and keep up with my diary...anyway things are going great...I seem to be losing about a pound a week on average and am now fitting into most of my old size 12 (8 American) clothes. People are beginning to notice, but best of all I feel great! having no trouble watching my calories, if I want a treat at night I just watch the calories more closely during the day.

I am proud of myself for getting up religiously at 6am every day of the working week to exercise, even though it is Autumn here and the mornings are quite dark.

I begin week 7 of C25K this week, last week I managed a 25min run without walking....so cool!
and in my circuit I am now up to doing 390 steps in my stair running, it is hard but worth it!
Life is good!:waving:

first day of week 7 in the couch to 5k done....have to run all my runs this week for 25min without stopping, so about 4km...went well, and managed to really push it for the last 5min....feeling great!:cheers2:
