Lili's Diary

Congrats on getting under 160! :hurray:

Thanks :)

Good day of eating (despite one slice of pizza tonight)

Yogurt, cranberries, almonds, apple, grapefruit, tomato/red onion/avocado/pine nut salad, 13 wheat/gluten free crackers, slice of ham n' pineapple pizza and 2 crispy flatbreads. 3 mugs of green tea.

I'm exhausted from a very busy week at work :sleeping::sleeping:

Hey one slice isn't even bad! It's when you get into the 3+ slices that's not good at all. My hubby and I were actually tempted to go to the pizza buffet today (I was thinking about it but didn't say it out loud cause if I suggest it, he'll say yes for sure. So when I crave the indian or pizza buffet I just keep my mouth shut). Anyways, he comes into the room with a bowl of cereal and says that he was craving the pizza buffet but grabbed a bowl of cereal instead and I was like I wanted that too, good thing you're already eating something, lol. I just have little willpower when he says, lets go to this, I'm usually like ok! lol... Bad me... I know!

Oh yah Risty, I'd be toast if I had a husband because he'd wanna eat more and I don't cook, really. And eating is often such a social thing. Just tonight I begged off an invitation to a friend's place for supper because she is not just overweight, she is obese and she offers cakes and junk food at her house all the time.

Having said that, I had a bit of a dumb-dumb moment all by myself, I'm afraid. lol
Watching movies at night I had snacks.

Morning; Raisin bran and soy milk, lunch 2 cups raw veggies, supper tomato/beef/sauerkraut soup.

Tomorrow I'm going to the store to buy some more fruit/veggies. Overall I'm happy with this week's eating. I'm looking forward to heading back to the gym tomorrow after taking a week off.

Today I walked to the store to get groceries and it was so nice out. I ate yogurt, almonds, cranberries for breakfast, and my beef/tomato/sauerkraut soup for lunch and supper. Tomorrow is go day for back at the gym. I think I'm going at lunch to do free weights.

My mom said she's coming to visit in May which makes me real happy. Being in a new city, I'm making friends, but no soul buddies yet. I need a good woman friend to go walking with. Sigh. I miss my friends and family so much on days like these. ;)

It's good your mom is going to visit you :) Just make sure you behave yourself (food-wise) when she's there! lol

LOL yah, no kidding. She's pretty health conscious, but still ... I'll watch.

Today was good. I ate on plan. I gave myself permission to forego the gym today since we moved offices and all is mayhem. I just wanted an easy day I guess. Did a little walking downtown with a co-worker. Tomorrow I am GOING to the gym.

I ate: raisin bran, soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, green aple, 3 cups homemade tomato beef/sauerkraut soup, 2 cups raw veggies, 5 oz. baked salmon, 1/2 cup wild/brown rice.

Thought I would edit to say in my new building I'm on 9th floor so I'm taking the stairs from now on :)

Sounds like when you make soup you're like me, you make a ginormous pot of it! I'm going to make peasoup with ham tomorrow! YUM! lol

Well I didn't make the soup. Went out with work associates from regional offices.

Today I ate: raisin bran, soy milk, 1/2 grapefruit, green apple, salad wth chicken and egg, granola bar, green tea, california salad with goat cheese, walnut, red onion, 3 glasses of red wine (too much I know).

Good night, tipysy Lili going to bed ... zzzzzz

Way to go on getting under 160!!!

So cool you have a gluten free restaurant there. I have had a sensitivity to gluten since I was a small child from what my mom said the doctor said.

That soup sounds good. Mmm

The gluten-free menu at the Italian restaurant is definitely something I would like to try. I sometimes use rice pasta and have used some gluten-free pizza crusts before. The results were mediocre.

It's really great to hear you broke 160. Congratulations!!

Thanks Want2Lose. LOL sadly the results of my cooking, generally, is mediocre. :smilielol5:

I ate too many calories today but I'm not going to worry because overall the day was healthy eating and I'm stringing my days together. I climbed stairs to my 9th floor office and walked home from work (2 miles).

Tomorrow nite my girlfriend wants me to come to the club after work but I'm going to order salad and drink green tea and water. LOL I'm bound and determined. :angelsad2::Angel_anim:

Good for you! I think it's so hard at the restaurant to order healthy when there's so many tasty options! I did it once though! LOL

Well, I kinda fell off the wagon this weekend. Too much wine last week and too much carbs over the weekend. But back at her tomorrow with my cereal, fruit, tuna sandwich and soup, and stir-frys, and gym every day right after work at 4:00 pm. Back on the straight and narrow because it's less than 7 weeks to my Vegas trip. I'm going to be a real good girl ... a REAL good little girl. Carrot and celery sticks are REAL yummy!! lol

Good Monday back. Ate on plan:
Breakfast: 1 grapefruit, one green apple, boiled egg
Lunch: 2 cups butternut squash soup, tuna sandwich on brown
Snack: greek salad
Supper: beef stir-fry
Snack: .5 cup blueberries

Drank my green tea and water, took my spirulina and did 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer and walked home (2 miles).
