I'm so glad you gave that psycho in NYC the boot. Eeeeeeeuuw. There is nothing grosser than someone fawning all over you before you've even met or had a phone conversation for that matter. :rotflmao: Just makes them seem so desperate, but really he probably found your pic very hot and he could possibly be doing this several times a day emailing with other women too. Kinda sad really.

The yoga thing sounds so great, are you using different teachers every night or always the same? I think your body is going to look even more fabulous from all this yoga. So jealous of your drive!
 
Hi my diary buddies. Today I took the kids to Red Lobster for their 19th birthday but managed to keep the daily intake just below 1900 calories so that's not too bad. I went to a movie and did not buy any junk so YAY.
75 minutes of Ashtanga yoga and 2 walks with the dog (approx. 3 miles).

I bought 3 pairs of shoes at a fancy store which had a sale...I luv 'em. I'm going to keep my cals low tomorrow, to compensate for the 1880 today.
 
Anna great job. It's probably a good thing you had a few more calories considering 75 mins. Ashtanga + 3 miles. You're awesome ;)
 
Oh, forget the yoga and the food...I just wanna hear about the shoes LOL...self-admitted shoe freak here who owns shoes she has never worn (because I think it's a law that if they are on sale you must buy at least 2 pair, needed or not)...pics?
 
LOL Yah, another shoe lover! Oh goody, someone who won't be bored if I go into detail. The sale was buy first pair at full price, get 2nd pair at 50% off, buy 3 pair and you get the third pair at 75% off. Like that!

My first pair are dark brown Sophia Loren style, 3" wedge heel sandals.


The second pair are 1.5" light brown pointy "witch shoes" as I call 'em. Heel strap, with a little buckle on the toe. Couldn't find a pic.

The 3rd pair are really fun red patent shoes:


The director of the film I'm in asked if I liked to drink wine and want to meet her for drinks...she said she's drawn to me. Nice. After shooting in late August, I'm going to get brave and ask her to read my screenplay (my ex and I wrote a beauty) because she said she's looking for a project. It so happens a person she highly respects is of my acquaintance also. This person read my script and said it's ready to market, doesn't need any more work and that's high praise indeed, because these babies get worked and re-worked a few times. So who knows...maybe something will happen. I'm contacting DE (dear Ex) to see if we can fire our manager out of L.A. because I don't think he's well connected and will place our script. He's had a chance for 2 years...now I'd like to market it for a while. Be damned if this director wants to do the film, that I want Max getting 10%.

Breakfast; Bran flakes with skim milk, one large apple
Lunch; 2 slice rye bread with 2 tbsp. peanut butter and blueberrie/banana/milk/yogurt smoothie
Supper; 2 hamburgers on whole wheat bun with .5 cup coleslaw

It was a good day. I mowed the lawn, went to my acting class, and then over to my sister's for supper...and didn't eat dessert or drink anything but water.
 
Ohhh somebody say shoes? :D

They had a 75% off sale here and i picked up 3 sets of new boots for about $8 each brand new. Even my daughter got new boots hehe.
Im wearing my new heeled boots atm, but im thinking of switching to the snow boots because its cold.
Somebody at work mentioned i looked taller somehow, and asked why i was wearing the heels, and i replied with a deadpan face "Its raining, i dont want my pants or feet trailing in the puddles ..."
All the girls cracked up laughing at my excuse and the guys just looked confused :D
 
Anna the shoes are gorgeous, and I especially love the red ones, they'll look hot on you ;) I also love hearing about the script/director/acting drama, I hope that your script is placed into the right hands so that something happens. Good luck! It sounds so glamorous :sigh: Oh and good job refraining from dessert at your sisters!

How wonderful somebody is interested in your play. YES!! and how fun to have drinks with friends, enjoy your time! And way to go on that yoga and still walking the dog, your doing a great thing for your body! And on the shoes note, I love shoes!! I love heels and I love sandals, OH YEAH!! I love the strappy sexy ones the best, I'm crazy for anything sexy! To bad I can't wear mine with everything. DARN IT!! Have a great week girlfriend!!

And I'm just in awe (and only slightly jealous) that you both act and have written a screenplay, and actually have a manager in LA...sounds so glam & exciting.

Today I received compliments on my little red shoes and I felt like it was a turning point in my life buying these shoes...lol...I know, seriously! They're going to take me places. ha ha ha
Breakfast; Oatmeal porridge and medium apple
Lunch; yogurt & granola, 4 oz. chicken breast, 1 oz. pumpkin seeds
Snack; granola bar
Supper; 1.25 cup lasagna, 1 slice garlic bread, 3 cups caesar salad with one tbsp dressing.
Walked the poodle around the lake (5 km)

Have a really nice night everyone!
 
Hey, well I hope everything is going well for ya! I think it would have been interesting to meet the guy :p LOL... I used to have an online relationship so I know what it's like to feel a certain way about someone without even meeting them. I had an online relationship for a year before we could meet (we were young) lol. It lasted 4 years, but it didn't work in the end. Ah well... I have something great with my bf and we can live together and everything! lol...

I live in a prairie province (similar to Kansas) in Canada and it's really quite pathetic to see local actors carry on. Auditioning for commercials, taking bit parts and hoping for their big break. The biz here is not Hollywood and one of the things I respected immensely in my DE is his realistic grasp of the limits to an acting career here. He was trained at the Neighbourhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York and I think to this day, he should have stayed there to pursue an acting career. But he lacked the maturity. If it wasn't for him, I would not have written our screenplay. Our manager in L.A. is a fraud. In this biz, managers and agents are a dime a dozen and I prefer to market my own work. One thing I learned from DE is there is no glam ... it's all fake and the real beauty is in the art. People in the biz who are concerned with "glam" sometimes kill the art. That's why I feel very fortunate to work with this current director on this film I'm in, because I soooo respect her. She's lived in California for the past 15 years and worked in George Lucas' special effects shop and she's been on Oprah 3 Xs but she NEVER drops names. She's down-to-earth and is doing this film because she believes in it. It won't make money but it's not about that for true artists.

I took Rufus around the lake tonight and didn't go to yoga because my neck was so sore. It's better now. I'm going to yoga for the rest of the week. I'm starting to notice a wee bit of definition in my arms from the push ups.

I love the fact that you do what you do. I love it that you're an actress and that you take pride in your own creativity and that you are able to access that part of your mind. I bet you're a FABULOUS actress. Thanks for being a good friend Anna :)
