Lili's Diary

you are total hot stuff, anna!! wowza even when I have to squint to see ya :D

I'm getting ready for work this morning, and I'm flipping channels looking for last nights scores and come across early morning yoga - criminey woman if you can do that I'm seriously impressed... I thought the class I walked out of was for the gifted...

I'm with Wishes on the yoga. I'm in there feeling like I'm wasting time, but I'm probably not. Patience is not one of my virtues though so I feel I could be burning mega calories elsewhere in the same time. But who knows.

Even as small as the pic is, I can tell you look really hot. Cant wait to see the pic better! I was just laughing in another diary how we love us some pictures on this forum! :rotflmao:

I clicked on the real estate in Vancouver and it DOES look absolutely lovely. Charming is an even better description.

Aww, geez thanks Mal. It looks like I got shrunk in the wash!

Naw, certain kinds of yoga just take practise, in fact they even call it a practise.

I took a yoga class a few years ago and was supremely bored, but the class I'm in now is very different. There's a lot of different kinds of yoga. Asthanga you burn calories! But I like the spiritual aspect of it also.

Cool, thanks for checking it out. I would jump at that one if I lived there now.
THANK YOU WISHES for offering to do my picture...I sent it to your email address from your website.

Breakfast; Oatmeal porridge and medium apple
Lunch; chicken salad sandwich, 10 almonds, yogurt, 2 cups lettuce, 10 baby carrots
Snack; granola bar
Supper; 6 fish sticks, 5 big stalks celery, 1.5 tbsp tartar sauce

It is dangerously hot here today. 37 celsius = 99 degrees Fahrenheit. So no yoga for me tonight. I'll go to a class tomorrow morning. We'll be hiding in the basement recroom tonight, to stay cool.:)

Wow, you are so good with your eating and not snacking. I graze all day while you just eat your 3 meals and healthy snacks. No wonder you look so great in your picture.

Thanks Blancita, I'm hoping the yoga helps me stay away from the junk food....cuz that's my weak area.

I'm watching Live Earth and Sneaky Sound System in Australia is so awesome! Great energy! She is just OWNING that stage!

Anna I feel like I'm reading my own life sometimes when I hear you talk about your sons. LOL Mine turn 18 in October, and they are the same way! One of them is a apprentice carpenter as well, he went to tech school for the past several years while going through high school, heck it was paid for by our school district if your child goes to the high school in our town. He holds a certification in drywall, roofing, bricking and something else, last summer he helped two guys remodel their homes, so he's had a lot of experience as well. He's currently NOT working as I told him to take some time off and enjoy a break before he has to start going at it full time. My other son he's taking a course to become a message therapist. OH YEAH! I'm real excited about that one. :) I told him to use me any time he feels like it. :) I posted a pic in my diary as well, it's not real bright but you can tell it's me, and I hate the picture, but what's new. HAHAHAA You look so great in the one you posted and so thin, WOW!!! *Kim whistles* :rotflmao: Well, I hope you have a very lovely weekend! And I'm happy to see your enjoying your yoga, it's so fun! It really does help. Later gator!
Kim

Anna: this is very random, but I had to tell you this before I forgot:) A couple of weeks ago you posted (I don't know if it was your diary or mine?) about wearing a pair of low rise jeans but not liking the way they looked because you still had a little bit of a belly. The shirt that Kim is wearing in the new pic she posted would be perfect for those jeans...seriously...long, semi fitted and dark colored (all slimming) and that little bit of fringe on the end to draw the eye downward. I have a top exactly like that (only in dark grey) that I bought specifically to wear with my lose rise jeans when I wanted to show off everything but the little teeny bit of belly. Try it ---- you'll like it!:jump:

Ohhh, and I just went back and saw your little teeny pic....sweet....you look so fit.

Anna great job on the menu, I hope you get a nice workout at yoga tomorrow morning. When you eat celery do you just munch on it raw? I never could quite like celery...unless I slather it in peanut butter. It's so good for you though, I think that if I feel the urge to snack, it'd be a great idea to just munch on a celery stalk. Not messy, super healthy, and convenient. They should start selling celery at movie theatres. It'd last a while, probably longer than the junk available.

Oh and I read in Cym's diary (I think) that you saw your ex in a movie? omg that'd be so weird!!!

OK, let's pretend celery stalks and baby carrots are yummy with no dip or PB.
:rotflmao:

No offense hunny (LOL) but celery is NOT a substitute for movie theater popcorn. I wouldn't invest the farm in that idea. :rotflmao:

Dont get mad Sara, I'm just messing with you cutie!

Yah, I just eat the stuff plain. I don't really think about it, I usually eat it while watching the telly or reading or on my laptop. I rarely sit at the supper table and slowly eat my celery with a glass of red wine if you get my meaning. I didn't know it had good nutritional value. I thought it was just ruffage (fiber) so you got me curious Sara. I found: This food is a good source of Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium and Manganese. Geez, who'da thunk it? Little celery stalks.

K, I just watched Genesis sing Turn it On in Wembley Stadium in London. I just about teared up. They are one of the greats. I saw Phil Collins when I lived in Calgary, but Genesis...that's another story.

I...I... get so lonely when she's not there
I...I... Ai ai ai ai ai
Turn it on, turn it on, turn it on again...

Even when he sings "I", he doesn't do it on the normal beat, he waits and it's brilliant, every single time. These guys know music. Genesis and Yes ... musical wizards. K, that's my little digression for the day. Wait. I'm not done. KT Tunstall in New York later today. Whoo hooo! I'll probably miss her because a friend of mine wants to go out this aft. K, maybe I shouldn't watch t.v. all weekend!!! lol

Sara, I don't know if you remember that horror movie The Messengers, but my Ex had a small part in that. He got spooked in the barn. But they lost the scene in film editing...so that's how it goes. When the big prodcos come up here to film, they are required to hire local talent in order to get the tax rebate, and sometimes they turn around and just loose it during editing. Sneaky but effective way to cut budget. Other times I've seen local actors in the bigger films so they don't always get cut.

Oh my god, Sara Brightman in Shanghai on Live Earth!! LOL I'm in heaven.

KT Tunstall, Genesis, Yes, ahhhh Anna I love it too! That's so cool about the movies, I love horror films. I think I'm going to buy some celery tonight, in fact I just need to eat more veggies in general :) I hope you have a lovely day!

I had to check back on Kim's pic to remember her top and hey, that's a great idea. I always thought the low rise jeans should be sexy and show some skin above, but not if it's chubby skin! lol So a long shirt over them is a great idea...thanks! I'll try to find one with a fringe (cool optical illusion). It's so freaking HOT here now, I'm walking around nude in the house, especially cuz the boys are away at a cabin for the night. :rotflmao:

HA HA HA the fun I have while the boys are away.

K, I'm trying to attach a picture that Liz just emailed me...I wasn't able to open it, but I was able to save it to my computer.

OMG ANNA It is not fair how hot you are! Um legs for miles? Gorgeous smile, great arms, flat stomach. You look fabulous :hug2:

Anna, where did you get that picture taken?? How tall are you? I like the fact that there are no distractions in the back ground and it's such a bright cheery picture. It just draws your eyes, very, very pretty. And what a cute suit! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Kim

Oh that picture is gorgeous!! Not 2skinny. You look wonderful. I like the no background thing too - someone savvy took it I'm guessing.

Congratulations. :)

Oh ladies, but you do make a 45 year old broad feel good! Kim, it may look like I'm smiling, but I'm actually gritting my teeth to pull in my stomach. So you see, Sara, it's not really flat...it's just sucked in real good. LOL Thanks for the compliments. A friend took it in his garage where he has a white back drop and lights for his out of the home photography biz. He gave it to me on a CD and told me he doctored the back of my thighs directly underneath my bathing suit (a little bummy tuck) which really made me laugh. Geez, photographers. It says I'm 5'10" on my driver's license but I think I've shrunk an inch so I think I'm 5'9" now. When you're tall, you can really hide weight. At 150 I look okay in clothes ... but I need to get to 140 or maybe 135 to really like my body naked.
Just got back from yoga...it went well, but there's a few poses I'll be struggling with for a while yet. They require incredible core strength. It's very cool to see older women in their 50s with svelte, sculpted bodies doing very hard poses.
