Yah, I just eat the stuff plain. I don't really think about it, I usually eat it while watching the telly or reading or on my laptop. I rarely sit at the supper table and slowly eat my celery with a glass of red wine if you get my meaning. I didn't know it had good nutritional value. I thought it was just ruffage (fiber) so you got me curious Sara. I found: This food is a good source of Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium and Manganese. Geez, who'da thunk it? Little celery stalks.
K, I just watched Genesis sing Turn it On in Wembley Stadium in London. I just about teared up. They are one of the greats. I saw Phil Collins when I lived in Calgary, but Genesis...that's another story.
I...I... get so lonely when she's not there
I...I... Ai ai ai ai ai
Turn it on, turn it on, turn it on again...
Even when he sings "I", he doesn't do it on the normal beat, he waits and it's brilliant, every single time. These guys know music. Genesis and Yes ... musical wizards. K, that's my little digression for the day. Wait. I'm not done. KT Tunstall in New York later today. Whoo hooo! I'll probably miss her because a friend of mine wants to go out this aft. K, maybe I shouldn't watch t.v. all weekend!!! lol
Sara, I don't know if you remember that horror movie The Messengers, but my Ex had a small part in that. He got spooked in the barn. But they lost the scene in film editing...so that's how it goes. When the big prodcos come up here to film, they are required to hire local talent in order to get the tax rebate, and sometimes they turn around and just loose it during editing. Sneaky but effective way to cut budget. Other times I've seen local actors in the bigger films so they don't always get cut.
Oh my god, Sara Brightman in Shanghai on Live Earth!! LOL I'm in heaven.
