*Lilia's Diary*

You're awesome! Isn't it wonderful when people think you've lost weight? Such a motivator!

It is! I was so happy, and I had pictures to see the change too (some from 3 weeks ago and yesterday and there was a difference so YAY!)

Great job so far! I find it very impressive that you manage to do exercise before school. I ike having my exercise at the very end of the day because then I won't have the "I was too tired from exercising to do x" excuse. Which I would use often... very often! I am like a manic person on the outside, doing 100 things, and a really lazy person on the inside always trying to get me not to do stuff. I am hoping tofully become the active person and not having the lazy person even say anything ;)!

I had the same amount to lose as you and I am halfway, it feels good at 140 but I know I will be happy once I feel skinny and not jus "average" (what is average anyhow? I still see myself as heavy and others depending on their own body weight see me as heavy, or skinny... I want everyone to see me as skinny! Especially myself!).

Have a great day, Camy

I know for some people it works to do it later in the day, in my case the thing is, there tends to be a lot of things poping up into my days so to make sure I actually train everyday, I put my training at the moment where nobody will be ready to do anything :p And then I can just do the rest of my day and do everything I want to do without saying:
"can't come I need to do my training"
or just deciding to drop the training for that day :p

I know what you mean by feeling okay at 140, about 3-4 years ago I was 137 but even now I know that wasn't my confortable weight because I don't remember feeling slim or good in the body I had or even very healthy.

Thanks for commenting!

Whats you height Lilia? Just curious, because you never put that in your first post, but you put your weight and the weight you want to be. I am about
5'5.9 and they want me down to 160, my doctor considers that my healthy weight. Because my wrist bones are so large. I take after my dad, I guess there is such a thing as big boned.

I can be built like a football player, used to be ... but than I got my curves, and than too many curves... lol all is time... I will lose the extra curves lol

I hope you reach your healthy weight. You will have more energy and will be able to do anything ... anything you want to do anyway ..or see fit too ...

I'm around 5'5" but I usually have a small shape (hands and all, I have smaller bones than my mum who weights about 130 pounds) so I suppose my healthy weight is between 115-125 pounds I will se which one is better (for my health):coolgleamA:

I am the same, 5'5 but I have a small frame otherwise at 140 I would not be so chunky still. My mom is a similar height to mine, I guess a similar built (I am not sure how to know my frame if it is hidden inside my fat!) and she weighs 115 and looks fine. But since I am going to be more muscly (my mom does no sports, well Pilates now, but usually none whatsoever) I think 120 would be fine.
Oh and I have tiny hands, most 12 year olds have bigger hands than me... I always remembered my nanny type person who would come like once a week to take care of us and to cook a few meals and she had the tinest hands and feet. She was also a 350 pound woman and I thought that if my hands and feet weren't going to grow I would be obese too... the things we associate sometimes, huh?

Have a good day, Camy

Good things:
1. I fit into jeans I could not wear about 3 weeks ago! :hurray:
2. My cousin told me she could see I had lost some weight :hurray:
3. I feel healthier already :hurray:

Sorry for the four days without posts, I had a lot of school work and it was kind of hectic! Strangely enough, I didn't actually loose much weight (in pounds this week) but I fit into 2 more pairs of pants. I think it means that I did loose some fat but switched it into muscle because I did not fit into theses pants like...last week or the previous one. I bought myself some new training clothes (well just one top for training and I was all squeeees!)
On thursday I woke up at 4:30 to do my training because I knew I would not have time to train later that day. That didn't work out so well, I felt sick after about 20 minutes of training and I went back to bed to sleep and see if I felt better when I woke up. I did and went on with my day).
That night since we had a little party with my boyfriend's job collegues, we just stopped at a Subways to get dinner. For the first time in years, I noticed there was a vegetarian sandwich, I took whole grain bread and lots of veggies (with some sauce) and it was delicious. And I think I was able to keep up with things even though I didn't get to train as much as I would have liked!
Sorry for such a short post, I have to go, tons of school work to do!

Yes!
My body seems to be going through phases. For about 2 weeks, I loose weight (pounds) and then for another 2 weeks, my weight seems to stay the same but I lose inches of body fat (my pants fit me when they didn't before) -> mostly, the fat that I do lose during that time is replaced by muscle (weights more but takes less space). After a month of training, I'm now back to losing weight (pounds), I lost 2,7 pounds in four days, without doing anything more than I did before in the last few weeks.
I'm still training everyday (most of the time in the morning) and I do my best to eat as healthy as I can, which doesn't mean I stop myself from eating things like chocolate or something similar I just eat a lot less than I did before. (I eat one piece instead of eating a whole bar).

Great thing about the loss this week! My body does it similarly, I lose usually for the first 2 weeks of my cycle (so the week after I get my period and the following week), then the next week I lose less and the fourth week, the week that ends with me having my period I lose nothing, may even gain a bit. Then it all starts again. It frustrates me to no end when I get to the no loss week, and I get cranky, then the next week I lose again and happiness all around!

And I like how you do it with the chocolate, I do it in a similar fashion, I try to eat treats but control them, don't go crazy on them. So far it is working quite well I think, but I have to be careful because I tend to think, well last week I had chocolate and was fine, so this week I will do the same but then have more than one bar or something, or do it more frequently. But it is all about control, as soon as you have the control and nto your tummy/brain, you are good!

Have a great weekend, Camy

Hey guys! :) Sorry for the whole week without posting! I didn't lose much weight this week (I was in my period so it's normal I think) but the moment it ended, it went back to losing quickly, I weight myself this morning and had lost 0,9 pounds since yesterday morning. I once again got told it showed I lost weight (by my aunt this time) and she also said I looked like I was shining! I was really happy!
I also talked to my mother and she was very excited to learn I had lost 12 pounds.
Today is Valentine's Day, my boyfriend and I will buy some healthy Thaï food, watch a movie and drink a little bit of wine. :hurray:
I had a little problem with my cousin yesterday, mostly, she eats what I prepare but when she is the one cooking, it's just not healthy. We already had some pasta to eat, but she decided to add some sausages to it (meat and pasta together, not a good idea, especialy sausages (250 calories for 1 sausage). In itself, it wasn't a problem since I just had to limit the amount of pieces of sausages and the amount of pasta eaten, the problem was more about how she cooked it. I made some spicy canola oil a few weeks ago, so she decided to use it to cook, but instead of using a little bit of oil and add more spices, she put an enormous amount of oil (like 10 times what was really needed). So I had a little problem but well, she doesn't cook very often.

Hey guys! ;)
Today was a good day. I woke up pretty early, had a good breakfast, waited a little and then started my training.
I began at 8:30 and did half and hour of Billy Blank's Bootcamp, then 20 minutes of yoga/muscle training/ stretching. I felt good afterwards and got ready for school. I had a pretty light lunch and when I got back home had a good diner. Once my boyfriend left for it martial arts class, I did about half an hour of dance which felt really good and now it's relaxing time! :)

Hey guys! :)
Today went pretty well! I had no school so I got to relax a little, I ate a little breakfast and didn't really feel hungry for lunch but still ate a little. Then, I danced, prepared diner for my boyfriend, and did my training for half an hour. Now I'm back to studying. :svengo:
I did lose a little today, but since my weight had gone up two days ago I'm not yet back to 164 pounds, more like 164.2 pounds (which it good too and hopefully I'll be lower than that by tomorrow). :willy_nilly:
Good Night!

I try never to make my ticker go up, if my weight fluctuates up I won't touch the ticker... it is like if the ticker says 137 even if the scales say 140 the ticker wins!

Sound like this is being a good week so far, keep the good work up!
Have a great midweek, Camy

I decided to do the same thing because otherwise it seams pointless. And I would have to modify my ticker all the time!

Thanks! Have a good midweek too! :)

I'm not really happy right now, I was really sad this morning to discover I had gained weight again instead of it going down, I hope it'll be different tomorrow. I suppose my mood is also due to all the stress going on at home and with school since I have tons of projects to do and I am going kind of crazy right now. Hopefully I will feel better when the weekend is here but right now, I'm just frustrated!
:banghead:
So yeah, I'm gonna go back to my studying and hope it gets better in the next few days.

This weekend has been pretty crazy, in fact, I didn't actually had the time to train for 2 days (until this afternoon). I was pretty worried since I was sure I had gained weight once again and that would have been depressing. But I got a wonderfull surprise, after having eaten both my breakfast and lunch, I was at the same weight as I had been at 2 days ago (meaning I probably lost some weight since I had eaten when I weight myself today!
Squeeeee! :)
I had a family diner yesterday evening and well, I probably was the only one losing weight without stopping eating tons of things and well hopefully next time I see my sisters they willl notice I lost some weight.
