Lifting Outside In The Cold

Tonight it was 48 degrees. Yep, cold. I had to do my Bear workout outside because the ceilings in my basement aren't high enough. When I lift outside I wear shorts, and an UnderArmor Cold Gear top. I don't feel THAT cold, but I was wondering if lifting in the cold can hamper progress. Maybe something with blood circulation? Idk.

Just dont get sick. If your gonna be sweating in the cold and dont dry up fast u can probably get sick.

It dont matter how cold it is outside, only your own body temp.

The only prob will be that you cant rest inbetween sets, you'll have to move about a bit.

Anyway - 48 is not cold. Thats only 9'C. thats fine

Yeah...Jonesy and I spent most of last winterish time outside doing tire flips, keg throws, farmers walks, and sledghammer swings and it never hampered the gains.

Thanks for all the good responses everyone.
I'm going to be lifting outside for the next few weeks, it's getting cold so I wanted to make sure I wasn't hurting myself more than helping.
