Lifting and Weightloss

I have been lifting for 2 weeks now, and my weight seems to go up/down from day to day. I started off at about 230, and I've gone down to as much as 224, but mostly stay around the 226 range. I was wondering why my weight has pretty much stayed even for awhile. Am I building muscle while working off the fat? I seem to weight more the day after a lifting day than after a cardio day. I do feel more muscle underneath all the fat, but I'm just curious as to why my weight hasn't continued to decline like it did the first week. I've sort of been bouncing around for a week.

Its hard to gain muscle and lose weight im sure you've already hear. It seems like thats what your going for? That could be the reason for your weight to stay where its at if your gaining muscle (weighs more then fat) but also losing fat. Many people just suggest to do one or the other, your body composition should be changing if this is the reason why otherwise dont sweat it maybe just a little laggy.
