It's not a good time for travel. I'm sorry that I'm missing out on seeing friends, family and the beautiful Australian beaches, but I'm glad that I'm not (by however small a chance) taking any risk at all of spreading the disease.
You, thank goodness, are too sensible and well-informed to be at risk - and I suppose she is already in quarantine, and everyone who travelled with her, also. Will this impact on Littlie's playgroup/kindergarten/whatever?
(On another note - the world's gone silly over toilet paper - not here, and not in South Australia, but... in so many other places in the world! I was reading about Los Angeles this morning.)
I'm sorry - that was an unthinking remark of mine - I'm glad you will be careful (and you, too, @Cate).With my Asthma, an being super susceptible to bronchitis and other lung infections, I need to be careful.
I think that it's something people know will last, is relatively cheap to stock up on, and is easy to know how to use. Water and dried pulses would probably be better if someone was thinking about a long-term lockdown, but that isn't necessarily thought of as easy to know how to use.Why toilet paper, of all things? Does anyone know?
Hope you'll feel better in time for your assessment. The activity was all during that time as I was in bed with flu symptoms till lunchtime. Now for an early night. hope to feel better tomorrow as I have an online assessment to do.
considering the effect on those of us with underlying conditions, I would be feeling a lot worse, but I am staying at home as much as possible.I hope you recover quickly, Tru. Have you thought of testing for you know what?
Love the Banksia pic. Did you get any leeches on you in the swamp?
Hubby thought I looked very military when I trudged wet an muddy into the house wearing cammo gear last night
