Can they do anything much to fix that stretch of road, Tru? It sounds horrendous.
Apart from no shoulder the road isn't that bad but locals and tourists alike drive like maniacs, I can be sitting just over the speed limit and have cars right up my clacker tailgating, all that would be needed for an accident is some local wildlife (Roos, koala, echidna, brumbies) to appear on the road. Even my son can differentiate the different sirens (police, fire or ambo) when they pass our place, it is the only road noise that is loud enough to hear at the house.

I think the worst driving I have encountered was tourists driving on the wrong side of the road and the idiots who attempt to overtake turning traffic.

It's kind of sad how stupid we are as a species.

I feel like my head wants to explode, I have anatomy pictures all around my desk, specifically for the stuff I am having trouble remembering like the cranial nerve numbers and what each one does. gaaahgh I need a study break, but the exam is on Monday and I am freaking out. my spelling is dreadful but an error in spelling will mean the difference between getting an answer right or wrong.

Still feeling down after a poor assessment, struggling with intense fatigue during the day, I have had problems like this in the past and hate to think I am having the same problems again.

I feel very much like the way I felt each time I have had glandular fever with it developing into chronic fatigue after one of those bouts. my last lot of regular blood tests did not show anything abnormal for the normal stuff my doc tests for (vit D, iron, A1C, cholesterol etc.) It may be time to get some further tests done, but my immune system does not produce much in the way of antibodies for glandular fever which means I have had it multiple time when most people can only get it once. I will need to get tested for ross river fever also as that is very common here and causes the same problems. When I get stressed my immune system seems to fall apart.

That does suck, Tru. Your body must feel like it's under attack. I hope you can manage to get some rest & bounce back xo

feeling blech

no energy to train and half asleep most of the day, unable to concentrate.

my melatonin that I ordered a couple of weeks ago has arrived along with the measuring spoons, it is pure melatonin powder so tiny measurements involved, I hope to improve the quality of sleep and immune response, studies also show promising results for chronic fatigue, worth a try to see if it makes a difference to how I feel. Son 3 spent a lot of time on meletonin prescribed for his ASD it helped a lot for his sleep quality.

:rotflmao: I'm pretty much the quintessential snowflake but that was funny. All he does is swear a bit and hit offending inanimate objects.

Just made it through a goal setting lecture in sport/exercise psychology

feeling physically exhausted but sleep has improved as has mental clarity so the meletonin is helping a bit with sleep quality, but will still stay on the smallest dose for a full week before increasing.

just general activity feels like I am moving through thick sludge, and sleep has not helped at all, time to take little miss outside for outdoor play/exercise.

I'm glad you're feeling at least a little bit better. Fingers crossed physical energy will follow once you up the dose.

not feeling any better

pushed through tutorial and some exercise feel mentally and physically exhausted

I have a GP appointment tomorrow and managed to sort through my Anatomy flash cards this afternoon, I failed the assessment by 5 marks but have a chance to resit on Friday, If I can pick up the "Skin" marks it will get me over the line, at the same time as trying to learn the new stuff for nest assessment, which should be a little more straight forward due to my in depth understanding of the shoulder due to my injuries lol
