Lift Fast Get Big (LFGB) By: Chat Waterbury

wow I defintely liked it, especially when chad started talking about recruiting fast twitch muscle fibers, which I need because I am conditioning for Football. But don't you have to drop weight in order to lift fast?

Jman, the article was talking about lifting as fast as possible with a given weight, without compromising form. Basically he's saying not to diliberately go slow on either the eccentric or the concentric.

IMO lifting fast it more about strength, I've actually trialed with this and have reccomended it before for strength. It's like neurological training..

I find that going faster makes your muscles depend less on the stabalizer muscles, which means less mass in the end... I train slowly, and take my time lifting, I destroyed my shoulder about 5 months ago, and just started lifting again because of it. It happened from training to fast, and not talking my time to use proper form.

Is it better to speed things up? Maybe, I don't know. I'm not a dactor, or a scientist. Stick with what you like, all in all, I doubt it makes any difference.

well if im gettin like 5000 good calories in a day and my diet is great, I will still get bigger when using this routein right?

If you eat 5000 clean caloires a day you'll get big if you lift at all, lol... Yeah you'll do great. Just make sure you get enough sleep and whatnot.

definately lift fast, and remember, just because the weight isent moving up very fast doesnt mean you're lifting "slow" if im doing lets say 8 reps with my 8 max, the last reps are gonna be slow, but the point is that i put ALL my effort into lifting it as fast as possible. Dont just put enough force behind it to make the lift, but put all you got. Without screwing you're form ofcource.
