Hi Emma
Well done for making the decision to make a change. I too have just joined here and although it was incredibly hard to make that move and write a post and put up pictures, I am so glad that I did it.
I identify with what you wrote and also feel very strongly about what Daybehavior wrote. Time is still on your side. In my head I am sure I am still your age but the truth is that I am almost 10 years older than you. For years I have been promising my self that from sunday or from the beginning of the month etc I am going to make the change. Now I am 31 and starting to think about having a baby and I know that it would be irresponsible for me to fall pregnant with out loosing some weight ok honestly a lot of weight.
Any way before I go off on a whole other tangent let me refocus.....
Be strong,
Use the fact that time is on your side,
Know that as hard as it seems it is easier today than it will be in a few years and with every year it will only get harder
Don't do some fad diet that will make you loose weight crazy fast and then put back on faster (speaking from experience unfortunately)
Find a diet plan that you can maintain
Don't starve yourself
KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE
You came here looking for support and so did I and I really think that we have come to the right place.
I did the conversion from kilos to pounds and I weigh 229.7 pounds so basically the same as you. We both just started and I would be happy to do it together with you. We can encourage each other and give each other updates. I want this so bad, I want to make a change, I want to be healthy and I can tell that you do too.
xxxxx
