thank you claudia. as for my english i started learning it when i was about 3 yxears old thanxx to my aunt who is from south africa. when she devorced my uncle i wanted to go after her so badly and really continued to learn english because of her :)
its still hot but there is some wind so its livable, but not so good because of the fires. the entire croatian coast seems to be on fire.

sara thank you so much :) i am trying. the pic doesn't show my belly, but its shrinking a bit and the upper part is definitely getting a normal shape hehe

i am proud of myself because now i actually see the difference :)
only 1 more week and i'm going on my vacation :D yaaaay i'm so happy because of that. i need a break

Lena you have changed immensely and for the better. I had never seen your first pic until just now and I am amazed at how great the change is from where you started. Also, I love how you look. Mal is right - you were always pretty, but this is better! Also you look now as though you can move how and when you want - a great improvement. Well done.

Not to belabor the language issue, but I really want to know how my baby can learn fluent spanish. Her relatives are puerto rican but even her abuelita (grandmother) speaks to her in english, with a very thick accent I might add. I keep telling them to talk to her in spanish, but I seem to be the only one teaching her the little spanish I know (like ven aqui-come here). So how exactly did you learn from your auntie (mixed with school?)??
 
well since she didn't speak any croatian, or very little, she would just start with good morning , easy stuff. but i did watch lots of movies and cartoons and listened to music in english so it just became natural to me after a while.

so just as she is surrounded with english surround her with spanish, but don't force it, because that drives kids away from learning language. for example when you're cooking or something humm to yourself in spanish, or watch tv in spanish and when she sees you understand it maybe that will drive her to learn more.

Glad you're having a vacation a week from now!! Me too, I get next weekend off for my b-day--be sure and enjoy something nice on Saturday the 4th--it's a good day to celebrate *she said self-centeredly* ;) I'll be 25!!

I hope wherever you're going, the view is as nice as it is where you live! Santa Cruz was looking nasty this morning--fog and such.

well the thing is on the 4th i'm going to see my bf :D:D don't worry we'll celebrate accordingly
the weather here is still beautiful and hot, as is probably in his home town. his home town is beautiful, it only lack the sea, but at least they have a river lol, and the beach is about 2 hours away so not too bad i guess :D
 
my bf's hometown

well i wanted to brag with my bf's hometown and some of my favourite places in croatia :)
my bf's hometown is called Mostar - and its famous for its old bridge which was bombed down in the early 1990's, and was built first in 1400's. now its rebuild woth the original stones. and this is where i'm going for my vacation :)

and these are beaches where me and bf like to go :) we won't be able to go every day because he will be working but will go on at least 1 time :) its 2 hour drive from his place.
the last one is in tucepi (tuchepi) and is my favourite, its not sandy beach but little pebbles, and this is how it looks in winter lol, during summer is packed with bodies lol
