thanx all :)

cind drop by and help yourself with anything you want anytime :)

UH OH - that my friend is a dangerous statement!!! HAHAHA...Im totally sick now as well, so I can relate to how you have been feeling lately, it isnt much fun is it *UGH*

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better, Lena.
a suggestion for your dinner: rice and vegetables. Rice is so much better than pasta or bread and if you take "integrale" (don't know how to say that in english, hopefully you'll understand the italian), it's got a lot of proteins which are good for your muscles.
Or you can eat some meat, usually better for the evening so that you can avoid carbs.

yeah but didn't do so good. i ate one piece of chocolate cake. i have incredibly strong pms lol. but i'm in my range fortunately. i usually eat salads in the evening with cottage cheese and hard boiled eggs or something light like that. but thanx for the suggestions.
and no problems for italian i actually speak italian lol, i studied it in school and worked one month in passo del tonale (near trento).

Hi Lena!! Glad you're feeling better! If someone would have told me 5 months ago that I too would crave exercise I probably would have laughed in their face too!..lol. But it's been two weeks since I've had a good walk (i hate winter!) and I feel both guilty and a little cooped up.

Have a great weekend!! :D:D

hey amy :) don't feel guilty, i'm sure you'll make it up. i love any kind of wheather as long it is isn't raining or foggy or humid. i can tolerate winter but one when you can smell the snow in the air.

i stand by it!!!! lol. and being sick definitely isn't fun. but i'm getting better. i even think i'll do some exercise tomorrow. yipi :D

Hi lena, I just wanted to pop by your diary and say hi, Have a great weekend, hope you feel better.
Michelle :)

i do feel better, thanx michelle :) pop by any time and help yourself to calorie free bar. you can find cind somewhere around hehehe :D

almost had a crisis thing... some microsoft update didn't sit well with my modem and i youldn't connect to internet, but fortunately i have friends who knew what to do... so now i feel better.
feel a bit guilty about that cake a bit...better if i had it round lunch...but i just had to have it. lol

hey sophie... well i almost couldn't come because my modem got sick just like me lol.
i felt so nervous this afternoon...and i slipped with that cake. but it felt so good lol
how are you doing?

oh, what were you nervous about?
and dont worry about the cake - i bet youre still within youre calorie allowances anyway. and i bet it tastes damn good so it will stave off any cravings youve been having for a while now anyway. we have a saying in england : "a little bit of what you fancy wont do any harm once in a while"
so there we are.
and i am feeling pretty good thankyou :)

well i have pms.. and when i have pms i'm nervous as hell, i just wanna yell lol. and when i have pms i crave...and i mean REALLY CRAVE chocolate cake. so i had one piece. i swear i felt shivers after that first bite. i can be a poster child for what is like to be a food addict lol
but you're right, i probabily wont have those for another month.

so i had today:
breakfast: whole grain turkey ham and one slice cheese sandwich with low fat yogurt
lunch: green pasta (tagliatelle) with gamberetti in tomato salsa
snack: orange
dinner: 1 extremely tasty piece of chocolate cake

do you know..i have just thought of another postitive point about the cake:
you actually enjoyed it...
whereas before (i know i would have done this) maybe you would have just gobbled it down without really appreciating the flavour that much because you knew you could have another piece?
you have used cake as a treat :D rather than a comfort

OMG now that's what i call a breakthrough. you are sooo right. i used food as a treat and not comfort :D now that's a first!
can i be proud now??? hehehe
and sparks tell me my cals for today were 1230 so any guilt i might have felt...is so gone :D

1230?!?! wowwww
if i could have chocolate cake and have my cals that low then i would eat it all the time haha
except my calories are never that low .. the lowest they usually are is about 1400..im still having trouble with my carb craves :(
and yes i am proud .. it is a very big breakthrough! good for you girl

hehe yeah, i really cut down my portions.
today i myde myself that pasta and it was normal portion (100 grams green pasta, about 50 grams of gamberetti with about one cup tomato salsa) and thought to myself...i used to have 2 or even 3 times that. sometimes with white bread. how come i didn't see what i was doing. i guess i didn't want to see.

and i'm proud of myself.

i had one slice of white bread tonight  but my major calories came from some cheese i had at lunch....
ohohhh
do you use low fat cheese? is there such thing as low calorie cheese?

hahaha lol, i don't think so..well at least not in croatia. i have cheese almost every day...either in the morning or for dinner as snack to go with salad. but i have one slice, so i don't get too many calories from that.
well now i feel better, and a bit sleepy because of these pills. so i'll talk to you all tomorrow :) if i don't have another problem with my modem lol

hugs to all Lena

ok, i'm going to do something i didn't think i'll ever do :) i posted some photos of me so i'm giving you the link

Picasa Web Albums - Lena - Lena

so there i am lol. i also put some photos of dubrovnik-one of the most beautiful cities in the world. going back there in april :) its in south of croatia.

and just to post my meals for today:
breakfast: kellogs special k with low fat yogurt
lunch: 1/2 cup brown rice and two pieces of beef meat
dinner: salad

see you all tomorrow :) Lena

aww you look so happy and pretty :)
and that city is amayyzing. i am so going to have to visit there sometime in my student days :D

thanx sophie :) i really was happy and i'm always smiling hehe and thanx for the pretty part :)
dubrovnik really is beautiful, i had a seminar there, and i'm having a workshop in april there, only two days, but at least i won't spend too much. its a bit expensive for me...and you should see the entire coast... croatia is a small country but has almost 1000 islands lol

anyway, so far i did good:
breakfast: kellogs special k with low fat yogurt
snack: probiotic yogurt low fat
lunch: leek cooked on 1tbspoon of olive oil, half onion and one clove garlic with one thinly sliced part of beef meet (i don't know the word in english lol...) and 10 grams of dark chocolate for desert.

i just saw on spark that those two leeks i made have only 77 cals...gotta love veggies (i ate only 1/3 of that)
dinner: don't know yet

still at home, but i'm going to work tomorrow cause i can't sit at home anymore. even though my doctor wanted me to stay for the entire week. no way!

do you use low fat cheese? is there such thing as low calorie cheese?

yes, there is. It's cottage cheese. We call it also yocca. Have you ever heard about it? You can eat 200 grams of it and 5 crackers and it would be a perfect lunch. :)

dubrovnik-one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

I went there this summer! It's true it's very beautiful. I went also to Senij, there was a wonderful sea!
I often go to Croatia for summer holidays :)

Those pics are great! It's good to put a face on the name!

senj is only one hour away from me :) i prefer southern parts, from zadar (zarra) and its neighbourhood, and parts around makarska (north of dubrovnik).

as for cheese, i was qouting sophie lol, she asked that hehe. i love yocca and several other types of cottage cheese. i usually use for my own dressing (bit of yocca, bit of low fat yogurt, spices for salad, sometimes i also put garlic or onions in it).

back at work and i don't know where to start, there is so much lol
