Leah's Diary

After shocking myself on the scale today, I have decided that the pounds will no longer "creep" up on me...and I will no longer ignore my weight gain!

I can relate to those who wrote about being the only "big chick" when you go out...I HATE that feeling! I want people who havn't seen me in months to say "WOW!"

Most importantly, I want to have another baby! I will NOT jeopardize my babys (or my) health if there is something I can do to prevent it...LOSE WEIGHT!!!

So....this is my little diary. Mainly for me (I have to remember the fat me somehow...wink wink), but advice, tips, and encouragement are much appreciated! Goodluck to everyone!

Welcome to your diary, and good luck! I also lost a bunch of weight trying to get pregnant (and was successful in getting pregnant, although I wasn't successful in keeping the weight off post-baby).

Well....I have lost 10 pounds some how.

I havnt started dieting yet (I am starting next week after payday...it seems the healthier foods tend to cost a little more) I have been more conscious about what I am eating and how much though.

I also started excersicing [gosh I don't even know how to spell it...college degree and all....that could be a red flag] about 20-30 minutes a day.

I really like using my son's big bounce ball to do crunches and situps on, we are having some issues with sharing though...as he likes to tell me "MINE MA!"

I'm kinda excited about the weight loss. It seems a little much in a couple of days. I found a couple of crayon tips that were stuck in my scale [hmmmmmm...how did they get there?] so maybe I was not as heavy as I previous thought? Either way its encouraging and I can't wait to meet my goal :)

Lol, how awesome you must have felt to see you were 10 lbs lighter after some mysterious crayon tips were found. Your son sounds like a riot.

hello! It sounds like you're having fun in here! ...is that allowed??? lol :D I would love to step on my scale and see ten lbs gone! THat's great!

And man oh man... I know what you mean about healthy foods costing more! It's difficult also when your parents buy the foods, and tend to get the, "no one's home, catch -as- catch can" for dinner! Which usually means lots of sodium filled foods that can be thrown into the microwave!

Welcome again, and I look forward to reading your diary!
