Hi everyone =)
I have already introduced myself in the newbie section but I will go into a little more detail here.
As I’ve already said I’m 20 years old and live with my partner of 5 years and my cat Angus =)
I’m expecting a good job coming my way in May that will put my mental abilities to the test. I know your maybe thinking ‘how does losing weight affect your mental abilities?’ Well at the moment I’m constantly feeling lethargic, unconfident and constantly deflated every moment of the day. This is now my second day of exercise and healthy eating and i feel great! Yes i can’t walk or sit on the toilet without pain due to swimming and my 1½h walk today, but my energy is still high!
Another reason to lose weight is I’m planning on getting married! =) A date won’t be set until i know about this job but at the moment it’s a huge motivation for me to look good.
At the moment I weigh and my target weight is . My plan to lose this weight is a combination of healthy eating with a calorie control, and daily exercise which mainly consists of swimming, walking and exercise DVD (Natalie Cassidy)
My diet is a limit of 1700 calories, 5 meals (sometimes 6 if i have enough calories left for pudding), no eating after 7pm, 2 litres of water and avoiding sugar as much as possible.
My exercise routine consists of swimming atleast 5 times a week (legths will increase with fitness level, i did 20 this morning), walking daily and 3 times a week exercise DVD (hour long). I’m hoping to add more activities as i go along such as yoga and the gym.
I’m not doing this alone, I’ve got my best friend Holly doing everything the same but she weighs 136lb. She’s part of my motivation and my rock in hard times. We did start swimming last year together but after 1 month she moved abroad from 6 months and i just couldn’t do it alone. This time its different tho, shes getting married next year so we have each other to keep us going.
As i said before this is my second day at this, yesterday i did the hour long DVD and kept to my eating plan.
Today because of been out of the house i slipped up with sugar content and 5 meals but i was under the 1700 calorie mark. I went swimming this morning and did 20 lengths (10 laps) tomorrow morning im aiming for 24 lengths (12 laps).
Thats it i think...anything else you want to know just comment =)

but I feel rubbish now from it. Compared to yesterday evening my energy levels are low and I feel like I've let myself down
