That is the oddest statement I have ever heard from a "friend". You're a drag because you want to get healthier, live a better and longer life?? Okkkkkay then. I would limit my involvement with her if I'm every feeling weak (which is often when it comes to changing eating habits and exercising). Anyway, she must have some serious issues.

Your weight may be stagnant because of dehydration. Now I'm not sure if you drink other fluids so let us know, they do count toward ones hydration though they often dont help us in other ways, such as having too many calories or chemicals whose names we cannot even pronounce. But we get a lot of water from our foods, and if you used to eat upwards of 3,000 calories in a day, you're getting even a lot less fluids now that you've cut your calories in half. Try adding an ounce of fruit juice to a glass of water or try green tea.

As to the box of cupcakes, I've been known to put a whole box away myself. Note that I did this back in the day at 128 lbs, so you can actually eat that stuff sometimes at your goal weight as long as you make up for it the next day by cutting back a little or exercising a bit more.

i think people just become jealous when you start dieting or looking after yourbody, try not to take any notice of your friend if she thinks your a drag because your looking after yourself shes not much of a friend, friends are supossed to encourage us not call us names!

Total: 1840 calories


Exercise: None - I was too tired today.

So I weighed myself this morning and I'm down yet another pound! Well, that makes it about 5 pounds this week tomorrow. Tomorrow will be my official 1 week. So I will weigh myself again.

Yay, I'm happy.

Breakfast: Waffles with Syrup (212)
Snack: Pineapple (120)
Lunch: Veggie Buffalo Wings (200)
Snack: None
Dinner: BBQ Bacon Hamburger, Fries and Salad (615)
Snack: Banana, Wafers, Soy Mango Ice Cream (600)

Calories: 1747

Water: 3 pints! That's more than I normally drink.

Exercise: 30 minutes Cardio

your breakfast looked scrummy yesterday waffles and syrup! i did something similar for my mum and grandmother on mothers day and i did waffles with exotic fruit with a little light condensed milk with apples arround the edge for edible decoration!

I get Vans Belgian waffles... they are only 172 calories for two of these babies. No preservatives. No cholesterol. And I use sugar free syrup.



So not bad.

Oyyyy I am so getting these...with strawberries and a dollop of fat free low cal whipped cream :D THE BEST!!

I felt like I kinda ate junk today, or was careless. I'll try to do better tomorrow.
 
We all have days when we are less focused. The secret is to not make a habit of them. You brought your calories in at a low level by missing out a lot of things.

Lots of fruit and veg is honestly the way to go to really fill out the diet with healthy stuff while filling up and satisfying a sweet tooth.

If you want to tighten up your food - I am currently setting a few mini challenges for one or two stragglers left on the 3 months until summer challenge threads. Anyone can join in at any time now and you may find it a useful way of step by step improving your nutrition. You could also work through the challenges that I have set in previous weeks.
 
Wow, you did so well on the calories though. You are on the right track and honestly I would be so proud of myself if I had a day like that.
