Hi,
I'm Laele, I'm 25 and I'm a fat girl. Yes, it took some time to admit it but now I've said it.
I've always been chubby and I always wanted to do something about it but I never had the strength. Almost four years ago I finally managed to lose 45 pounds. I was soooo happy with what I had accomplished and I was sure I'd never gain the weight back. Obviously, I was wrong. I've gained back most of my weight and for a long time didn't want to face it. I kept saying to myself "as long as you don't weigh more than 65 kgs it's ok..." and then "as long as it's not over 70...75...80..." and now I'm 83.3. So, I've decided to give it another try, I know I can lose the weight, I just need a way to figure out how to keep it off.
I've started dieting on monday, so it's been a week. My first week has been pretty good, I'm taking small steps, trying to eliminate junk food and to exercise more.
This summer I had started running but I felt my weight slowed me down and I was afraid I could hurt my knees or ankles because of the extra weight. So for the time being I'm focusing on walking, at least 30 minutes a day.
I hope to find lots of friends here!
ps: english is not my first language, I'm sorry if some of my sentences don't make sense
