lacking motivation, please HELP

phew.. had the most hectic day of the year.. started at 6.30 (after having slept for 3 hours) and had to run around and tek enormous stress thru out the day.. but unlike before i dint let stress and work pressure get in the way of eating healthy.. :).. in fact i even worked out at the right times ( though had to improvise a lot to fit the circumstances, i.e. running in the morning in the streets wearing proper clothes because i was staying over at my friends for work :) :D)

so feeling great :hurray: :hurray:

today was the qualifying round of this national branding/advertising competition..med to to the next rounds :):)..

but the next few days wud be really stressful, what with exams and term papers and the competition.. but i wont let stress get in the way.. i will repeat today over the next few days in terms of eating healthy .. and i will work out.. and i'll post regularly to keep myself accountable..

thanks a lot for ur support guys.. the next few days wud be difficult, so please bear with me :)

I am back

finally.. after almost two weeks, i am back.. the last coupla weeks have been crazily hectic.. there were three four days in a row when i slept for only two three hours.. and had to be on the run all the times... and then there were times when i had to stay over at other people's place, which in past meant no worke out and unhealthy food :banghead:....

in past i had always put on weight when going thru stress, so i was really worried that i'd lose my way once again...

but this time i was totally in CONTROL :hurray: ... i ate healthy no matter what pressure i was in, when staying over i either ran in the morning , or put the stay-over in my weekly rest day...

I DID IT :D

there were moments when an auditorium full of people were having chicken fries and burger (at the award giving ceremony of a marketing contest).. and i was sitting there, and my friends were asking me to eat.. but i didn't budge.. i called my girl friend and talked to her to keep the whole thing out of my mind.. she was really supportive :)and i felt so good abt myself when the whole thing was over... :hurray: :hurray:

then there was the time when a friend's house i went to was having a party, and my friend's mom would make me have dinner no matter what (really oily food, eeck!) .. it was a tough one because there was an immense social pressure,.. in the end i got out of it by pretending that i have been ill :D

so.. every day for the past two weeks there have been something like this, and i went around all of them.. i was so in control..it feels GREAT...

i haven't taken my weight over the past two weeks, but i'll weigh in on friday.. but i did measure my waist.. so far it has gotten down from 38 inches to 34.5 inches :D

thank u guys so much for reading the long post :).. and THANK YOU for being there for me in the first place :)

You Can Do It

Just like the title of my reply. You Can Do It!

It is possible, it can and will happen if you let it.

Wanting change is great! Take baby steps towards what you want, be proud of yourself for trying to progress, and keep at it.

Change takes work, but not in leaps and bounds, mostly just in baby steps!

You Can Do It!

Hope everybody is having an awesome day...keep your heads up...stay focused, drink more water, add something new to your fitness plan today....Little steps lead to big results!

well good luck man, the key is to stay motivated. For me it's lifting wieghts that the feel i get when my muscles are pumped up and the blood is flowing to the muscle i am pumping. Staying motivated is the hardest part. I wish you the best of luck. You must make working out FUN, if it's work to you, then you won't last. Down load your favorite music to your Ipod or find out which workouts you enjoy most. Good luck man!
