lacking motivation, please HELP

lost two more kilos.. woo hoo :hurray: :hurray:

altogether, that wud be 6 k.g. or 13.2 pounds lost in 1month and 9 days :D :D

wont have been possible without u guys :)

phew.. its six in the morning here.. freezing cold.. and i just finished a half an hour cardio session :hurray: :hurray:

fallen back... frustrated

the last three days been lousy... there was a program at university.. ate out.. stayed over at a friend's place .. dunno why but ate junk food again.. got frustrated and the binging began.. :banghead:

its been three days.. no workout and lots of food.. i am frustrated, but more than that i am scared.. i have been thru this before, and i have lost my way.. :banghead: :banghead:

tomorrow i start fresh.. and turn things around again :)
 
Hey, we all have our temporary slip ups, and in the past we've all had those slip ups that ended up starting us back to square one, or worse.

HOWEVER... I want you to look at that last sentence you just wrote...

"tomorrow i start fresh.. and turn things around again"

That's the spirit!!

As Ms. Scarlett O'Hara once said... "Tomorrow IS another day."

Keep that in mind.

Hang in there, get back on the exercise ASAP. REALLY watch what you are eating, but don't starve yourself as 'punishment'. And really try not to indulge in too much self-flagellating behaviour.

Are your "friends" still teasing you about your weight? Just curious.

P.S. You may have mentioned it in an earlier post, but I can't remember... how tall are you, anyway?

the reaction from my friends have been pretty funny.. let me share, it wud cheer me up as well :D

couple of them said that they can finally see bones on my face... some dropped the topic entirely :)... one of my friends said 'you lost some weight, and although that's good you're still fat'.. and then there the others who still calls me a fat-bastard, but less often, and finally there are those who say that i've lost some weight and i look better and i should keep going... :):)

so i think i shud remember these and keep telling myself that i can only do better from here..:) i am waiting for tmrw to end so i can write abt a better result here...:D :)

p.s. i'm 5'9" (well..may be half a centimeter shorter than 9)
 
I've seen a couple t-shirts floating around that say something to the effect of "I may be fat, but you're an asshole, and I can diet"

I hope your success in your weight loss continues to shut 'em up about it.
 
well thats too bad man. But it happens to all of us. Heck it happened to me. I'm trying to stay at 2600 calories. i ate great all day till super when i ate over half a pizza and buffalo wings. it was a 2000 calorie dinner. I'm frustrated and mad at myself. But all we can do is keep trying. I plan on eating extremely healthy tomorrow. Not starve myself but eat mostly raw veggies and fruit and really get back on track. I've lost 70 lbs to date and during my weight loss i had bad says, i still have bad days. Make up for it, find a way to get motivated again. i wish you best of luck man.

See, you can do it!...Don't let what a few say put a damper on your great spirit...sometimes we may trip and fall but we only lose if we don't get up...keep up the good work and remember that you are making your life better so whatever negative things people want to say just use it as fuel to push you even closer to your goal...:waving:
 
You are such a good model to us all. Keep on going and show them. Sometimes people who say things that are hurtful say them because they don't want to see you fail. But what they don't realize it drives you even harder. So keep up the great attitude. Tina:seeya:

i was waiting for this holiday.. i wud still have my part time jobs, but no university means i wont have to miss my morning work out (i have to commute to university.. often, i miss my workouts out of time constraints).. :).. i can go to the gym and catch up on the weight training...

my parents are going to our village home for the holidays.. but i am deliberately not going, because village home means loatsa food and no work out..

so.. shouldn't have lots of trouble with food either :D...

so things are looking good.. all i gotta do is see thru the next few days...
