lacking motivation, please HELP

of course from next week i'll be expecting to lose a lot less weight.. but as u said, as long as the scale moves :) :)

i am also taking your suggestion.. from this week i am keeping my body measurements as well.. so even if the scale tricks me.. the inches would show the results : ) :)
 
day seventeen and counting :)

completed my seventeenth day today.. feeling great as far as having a healthy life style is concerned :)

day went properly as before.. but in the evening had a huge fight with my girl friend... its silly, but i am comfort eater.. i tend to binge wen i'm sad or stressed out.. or both :(

so, i got really hungry and wanted to eat like hell.. worried that i'd give up, i quickly filled myself up with all the safe food i cud find (veggies, some sugar free biscuits, a little dried rice).. and drank LOADZ of water to keep myself full and stop the craving.. finally i did half an hour extra cycling in the night to cheer myself up..

feeling miserable.. but really glad that i dint give up to the cravings...was s'posed to take my weight today,but decided to give it a few more days...

so, howz ur weight loss coming along?? :)
 
Hey there Tawsif, you need to pat yourself on the back for being a true fighter for yourself. I know what it is like to want to emotionally eat, as do many many other people. You are making some great choices and are aware of your triggers...that is half the battle. Im proud of you!

Good for you for not caving in to the cravings! I don't do the comfort eating, but I tend to gravitate towards the alcohol when I'm stressed. I've really had to watch myself and limit my drinking to the weekend. Both for weight and avoiding becoming an alcoholic.

Lately I've been pretty stressed out at work and its affecting my motivation. Usually I've been able to power through it, but I need to kick myself in the ass and get back to the gung-ho on working out.
 
Good for you Tawsif! Great job not giving in! I tend to drink as well when I am upset not a good thing. I can take lessons from you you are so focused and it really fire ups those around you. It is great reading about your successes.

I hope your friends have laid off of you a little. Just use them as a tool or I should say the gas to fuel your fire. Use their comments as motivators because in the end you will win. And when you win you will be able to look at them with so much pride in yourself for not having let them win. Keep up the great work. Tina:waving:
 
thank u so much guys :).. i'm into the 21st day :hurray:.. and it wont have been possible if it weren't for u :)

things are going good now.. but i'm a little worried because things are gonna get really stressful from the next week.. and it'd be a like that for the rest of the month.. i have tend to falter under stress like this.. so this should be a great challenge..

but i think i am ready :)... i am in control.. i'm losing weight.. and i am strong and i'll stick to the new lifestyle no matter what :hurray:

what i eat dsnt control me, i control what i eat...

and above all, i got u guys to support me wen things get down :).. really, i'm in the best spot of my life and i shud only do better from here..

once again, thanks u guys for being there :) :)
