Well where to begin...? Just in case you didn't see my intro, I am a newbie to the site! I am 21 years old going to school and working. I am 327.6 pounds! and 6 feet tall. (As I am typing this I think I took a moment in shame to stare at that number :0). I suppose I am starting my 2014 New Years resolution a little bit late, but at 1 am on New Years day I was already coming home from a bar with a friend eating an In-n-Out double double cheeseburger animal style with fries and a Dr. Pepper. I had already failed a weight loss resolution LOL. I felt like "well.. while the rest of the world is making their healthy resolutions I guess I am going to go another year without change".
Now, most of my nights. Scratch that. Every one of my nights consist of playing video games on the computer probably from 7pm until usually around 1am for roughly the last 5-7 years? World of Warcraft was my poison with a staggering 300+ days played. THAT IS ACTUAL TIME SPENT LOGGED INTO THE GAME. Meaning i have spent 300 days sitting at my computer for the last 7 years playing one game. In these last few weeks I have since quit WoW because it has simply gotten old and boring. I am mostly playing CounterStrike now. My dog is laying outside my room bored staring at me clack away and talking to friends online. With the thought of going on a walk almost a fantasy in his little 100lb German Shepherd head. Until one day I was burnt out on the game and felt like I had some energy. I had previously gotten some new wireless earbuds that wouldn't fall out when running or walking for christmas so what did I do?! I got up and said, "Want to go for a walk?" My dog almost jumped to the ceiling and blew out the windows in excitement. And there was night one of walking.
The next day a very pleasant day at work with a little flirting and smiles from a beautiful co-worker (we will call her ally) I was already somewhat interested in captured my full attention and since then sparked a motivation to lose this F****** fat like no other motivation before. Now asking her out will come soon, but first I need to show some signs of progress right? I drove home that night feeling like what had to have been how Jack felt about Rose after he saved her! So easily, my dog got to go on another walk, with a little mixed in jogging! Previously when I tried to work out I never used to listen to music because my earbuds would always fall out and it was a huge hassle. Let me tell you, if you don't work out with music you are only making it harder on yourself! The music puts you in a good mood with a good beat and makes the time go by faster! It is simply amazing! While out and feeling tired I just say to myself one more step is another step closer to Ally!
Of course reading this now you are probably thinking my thoughts are all out of order and nothing is flowing lol. Well it is a diary and my excitement about losing weight is so high right now I can't control myself! Today was day three and yes I have already gone out with the dog to get our sweat on. Everytime I want some more food or thinking about getting something unhealthy I take out my phone where I have my wallpaper of Ally and her beautiful smile (Yes I know its creepy as fuck but you gotta do what it takes to be motivated right?) and I am able to say no to more food or choose the healthier option!
I hope you all can keep me accountable by wanting to know my journey and IF I can make something happen between Ally and I LOL. I think I will ask her out this week or next week
. If she says no then hopefully it will be long enough with this new lifestyle that it will become habit.
