I'm feeling pretty good today, although I'm still having a problem sleeping due to the medication I'm on. Actually, the issue isn't falling asleep, it's getting up in the morning before the drugs have a chance to wear off. It's everything I can do to get dressed and come to work, so my plans for working out in the morning before work have been thwarted. Drat.

I had a bad weigh in last week and I'm determined that's not going to happen this week, so I'm putting my all into it to ensure that doesn't happen again. Drinking tons of water, laying off the pre-packaged lunches and am avoiding sodium like it's my job. Tonight is Girls' Night Out with some friends so hoping I can get out of there on one glass of wine, say my hellos and get home in enough time to watch the season finale of Project Runway. :)

I'm stealing this thing from Elegance. Very "High Fidelity" and I love that movie:

Top Five Clothes I Miss Because I Can't Fit Into Them Anymore
1. My skinny Marc Jacobs jeans that were such a find
2. My leopard print car coat from a designer I know in New York
3. My 34B bras
4. My super-sweet black leather boots from Prada that I can't get into because my calves are too big
5. My black evening gown from a designer I know in New York. The one I should be able to wear this holiday season but I won't be able to get into it unless I did something unhealthy and unreasonable.

I figure if I keep going, I can get back into the jeans somewhere around New Year's Eve, which means maybe I can wear the dress about the same time..(??)

Gotta run....my water from breakfast is putting a strain on my bladder. :)

Hey, I came over here to see who wrote this great quote.....

It's not the fumble, it's the recovery. When you know better, you do better. Don't beat up on yourself. It's amazing how calories will sneak up on you like that...they're crafty like that. :)

Saw this on Elegance's diary. Liked it so much I stole it and put it on my diary - to inspire me. Thanks kdiva. :p
