Today was officially my first day of eating healthy and exercising! I am very satisfied with how my diet went (got in some protein, fruit, whole grains, and dairy), and I was even able to resist counting the calories! (In the past, I always counted every little calorie, and ALWAYS ended up eating too little because of it.) Today's exercising thus far consisted of...

~stretching.
~brisk walking/jogging/running for at least an hour (which ended in running up three flights of stairs to my apartment).
~stretching.
~100 sit-ups and 100 leg exercises (done in one session like this: 30 standard sit-ups, 30 flutter-kicks --> 20 side cunches, 20 flutter-kicks --> 20 crunches, 20 flutter-kicks --> 20 elbow-to-knee/knee-to-elbow crunches, 20 flutter-kicks --> 10 standard sit-ups, 10 "bicycles" while lying on back.
~stretching.
~20 standard push-ups.
~brief stretching.

I'll probably end up doing more crunches tonight, since I feel so darned good! ^_^
 
Well, today was my third day of dieting and exercising, and I haven't messed up once! Just yesterday I bought an exercise ball that came with a workout DVD, and I am going to do that DVD workout at least once a day! It really worked today, as I was drenched in sweat and feeling good!! ^__^ I've also managed to work in at least an hour's walk every day, so I'm getting that on top of my ball workout. I really hope I start seeing results by next week! I already feel so much better and a little more toned up. I just want this extra flab to go away!

Another good day! After three days of strength and cardio exercises, I took it a little easy today and only did my strength exercises. I'll be walking extra long tomorrow, though, since I'm off work then. ^_^

I think that I'm already seeing results, but that's probably only beause I want to. LoL! If I do have visible results, they're most probably just from loss of water weight. But hey! That's okay with me. It's a start. :)
 
I've decided to post my original "Before" pics, taken the day that I joined this forum. These will be the pics that I compare all my reults to from now on, so I think it appropriate to put them here as a comparison for me:

Hey girl! Welcome to the forum! Great job posting the pics; you'll be glad you took them when you are taking the AFTER pics! Looks like you're doing great so far on diet and exercise!! KEEP IT UP!! :hurray:

Thanks for the encouragement. ^_^ I haven't updated recently because I've been sick with an awful cold (completely congested), and haven't done my exercises. :(

But I will get back on track tomorrow, as today seems like it'll be the last day... I can actually breathe through my nose. LoL
