Know Baseball? Help me out.

Well school starts in about 2 months, and I am planning on playing fall ball for the school. I know at my current weight, speed, and build I will not make the team. I am hoping someone will take the time to help me here. I wanna know what I should do that will help me become faster, stronger, and more agile.
I play catcher so quick feet, strong legs/core/arms are a major plus. I am already a good all around catcher, I just really need to work on speed. So any advice would be appreciated, and a fully detailed lift plan would also be greatly appreciated ;-).
 
I just realized maybe some stats would help...
I am 5'10, about 235 lbs, I have a good base of muscle, but also a lot of fat.
I can run, I can do high intesity work-outs. I am not out of shape inside, just outside I am carrying some extra baggage, when really all I want is a carry-on. (lol)
 
just focus on dropping some wt and you'll autiomatuically be faster and strionger as you'll have less wt to carry...do wts 3 times a week with full body workouts, set out a diet plan and follow to a T and you could drop 10 - 15hgs in that time if you stick to it... - fit.com has some stuff on there that might help you
