Know any good Glute exersises???

I cant workout any good gulte exersises.
I have been using a smith machine and doing a back squat, going really deep and extending the legs only, so im still bent over.
But even then I feel like my hams are working much harder than my glutes.

I also tryed tying my wrist wraps to my ankles and hooking it on the cable machine for a weighted kick back, but it was no good.

I know there are loads of good body weight exersises but I want some weighted ones to help.

Any ideas?
 
Walking lunges are very different than regular lunges, try that. Use dumbells and lean forward as you stand up from the lunge. Weighted step ups are nice too, if your step is high enough.

Yep the longer the motion the more the glutes are used.
 
Lay on your stomach, and raise your legs off the ground while squeezing your cheeks, hold for two seconds and lower. Try one leg at a time, or use both. To make it harder, lay on a bench (you may have to rig it up so it is alittle higher than normal) and do the same, but lower until toes are close to the ground, repeat above. Hits low back/glutes/hams.

I dont have any equipment to do that. Ive tryed lying leg curls using the cable machine and a bench, but I just keepsliding toward the machine!!!!
