Knee Recovery

Hey guys... a few months ago I injured my knee practicing Kajukenbo(a martial arts style). Doing a Judo move, all my body weight + my opponents fell on ONE knee, and it bent around 30 degrees inward. I went to the doctor, he told me to use a knee brace for 2 - 3 weeks. I did, and once I was recovering... I decided to play basketball... Injured my knee pretty bad, my knee went huge, it had alot of blood plus knee fluid. Thing is, i went another few weeks with the knee brace(by recomendation of the doctor), and now he said it was OK to move the knee, and to try to give it strentgh again. In 6 weeks I have a follow-up appointment with the doctor. I was wondering what excersises I could do to regain strentgh in my knee as soon as possible... Thanks in advance! Any questions just ask...

(By the way, Im 17 years old, 5'10, 165 pounds).

before you start your exercises i want to make sure you have a proper diagnoses.

What happened when you played basket ball, did it twist again, did you hear a pop when you first injured it.

Suspicious it may be a torn ACL, after all when i did mine the doctor first misdiagnised it and i did more damage then i shoudl of....

It didnt bend or nothing in my second fall... I jumped to get a rebound, mislanded, and it got injured... Hurt horribly... I had to be carried to the bench ;) Thing is, I have no idea what the hell I have... The doctor gave me a diagnosis, but I cant read it because of his handwriting ...
