Knee injury

Hi all,

I've been doing a FBW 3 times a week for the last 2-3 months but just this last week I went on holidays skiing. The first day of the holiday I twisted my knee on the slopes and there's some serious pain there. I strap it up every day and its starting to get better but I really cant run/bike/elliptical/jump rope, h3ll I can barely walk sometimes.

My question basically is what can I do while my knee heals? I'm a firm believer(as are most people on this forum) or starting to leg work(squats and deads) but I really cant see my knee being up for it, is it ok to turn to working upper body part splits while it heals?

Thanks
Ciaran

When you went to see the doctor about your knee - what was his / her diagnosis ?

What did the doctor recommend you do as far a training goes ( as it pertains to your knee ) going forward ?

I have a trip to the physio booked for wednesday so its a wait and see with regards training going forward with it.

From a weight training point of view, is there anything wrong with ust hitting the upper body while the knee rehabs? Or working the upper body in how I was doing it while going ahead with a physio rehab program

Depends what you injured, you didnt really say much to have a guess..

I dont see anything wrong with doing your upper body.
