I am 25 years old and I am very overweight. I am 5feet 5inches and I weight 258.8 as of this morning. I am a single mother of 3 children ages 5,3,1. I have never been skinny but this is the largest I have ever been and I hate it, I look horrible, my back and knees are always hurting..bottom line is I need to lose weight. However, I tend to eat more when I am depressed, which is quite a bit of the time, I also eat when I am bored. I am trying the Atkins diet again, it worked really well for me last summer but then I had to move back in with my parents, depression started again, and I blew up. I'm cutting out carbs, drinking more water, going to try to exercise more. Exercising is difficult for me because I live in Mississippi and it is way too hot to go walking, even at night it's soo humid out.My goal weight is 180lbs. but right now I'd be happy just to get back down to 200. I will be back on later to add more just wanted to do a quick intro for now. :waving:
 
Hey Kira welcome to Weight Loss Fitness. It sounds like you have good motivation so far so that is great. Dont forget to create a weight loss ticker for your signature and to join the challenges. it takes so long to lose weight sometimes its good to be involved so we dont lose focus and run astray.
