Well done on the weekend with the food temptations. Now that you've said no once you know how to do it again!

Can you try to think up some other things to do with our friends other than eat. Maybe go for a walk or play a board game etc. You might find that some of them are trying to be healthy too.

I'm sure the scales will reflect your good choices soon.

Thank you for your comments. :) We try to do things besides eating but unfortunately, snacks are usually included whether we play boardgames, watch movies, play rockband etc. But like you said, I did it once so I can do it again :) By the way, congratulations on your weight loss so far as well!

So yesterday was my treat meal day and I did well. I ate a lot more than I normally would but I didn't go overboard. However, I did have a few beer which are high in fat so my weight it up but that'll be a one or two days thing which I don't mind. This morning I went to brunch with my friends for a friend's birthday and I had a veggie omelet which i think was a good choice :). Now my family is having turkey dinner soooo I'm going to try to stock up on veggies and not have as much gravy as usual. I will also have some dressing and salt meat but again, I'll have a little bit...not as much as usual!! I can do this :)

I am a sleepy girl today but I had a lovely weekend :)
 
Off to the doctor today to find out what is making me feel so yuck! Cross your fingers that it's just my iron and nothing more serious!!:svengo:

Let's seee.... I did well yesterday...We had good ol' turkey dinner! woo :hurray: I LOVE it!

And I did good...I had very little dressing and salt meat and not as much gravy as usual. My biggest accomplishment, however, came with our dessert. We had a lemon maraigne pie and a chocolate mudslide pie! If I remember correctly, a slice of one pie was around 300 + calories and 15 + gms of fat! Normally, I would have two normal sized pieces plus seconds or thirds or...

BUT! I had two verrry thing slices...so thin that they crumbled when I put then from the dish to my plate :D yay!!!!! I was so proud that I could do that. And it didn't even feel difficult! I just did it!

My weight may not be going down terribly quickly or anything but I'm definitely overcoming some of the bad habits that will keep me overweight!!

Thank you for the well wishes!

Seems all is well with me...well I have some things to take care of. I have had night terrors since I was a little girl and for the past while (a stressful time for me) I have been having them more frequently so I am not sleeping well. I believe my doctor is attributing how I'm feeling to this. She's also checking my blood work to see if anything is out of whack. So I need to look at my options and decide the best option for me to try and combat the night terrors (meds or counseling).

But anyway, had a good day today! Been making some good decisions (has mustard instead of mayo) on my subway sub! weee!

Very sleepy now!
 
I hope you can get those night terrors to settle down. My little brother used to get them and they were horrible.
