Hi all,
I've been on this site all week so I think I'm getting back into the swing of things.
On January 4th, I decided to start working hard to lose weight. I started at 189 and my goal is approx. 135 depending on how I feel as I lose. I'm 5'3''.
This has been the longest that I've stuck with a weightloss plan in a looong time so I'm very proud of myself...it's been 19 days, wow!
It's Thursday now, so tomorrow is my weigh in day. So far I've lost 6.6 lbs and 6.5 inches, so I'm thrilled! On Fridays, I'll usually eat whatever I want and probably wont exercise. So I'm looking forward to tomorrow!
I wouldn't consider myself on a diet. I've just cut out crap and I'm trying to watch my portions. I'm really trying to do this properly this time. As for exercize, I've decided to do Jillian Michaels (from the biggest losers) 30 day shred weight loss dvd. It has three levels. I tried level 3 yesterday. It was HARD! but I did it! and I only needed to do some of the modifications. I can definitely feel myself getting stronger. I'm also doing pilates and I do bellydancing once a week.
My motivation behind all this is two fold...I want to look good and feel good, especially for the summer but I also want to be healthy. I'm very much overweight right now and it's not healthy at all. I've seen the horrible things that happen to people who aren't healthy and I refuse to let that be me. I'm only 23 years old.
anyway that's it for me! I'm gonna go do level 2 and 3 of the dvd and we'll see how that goes haha.
Just one more day and then I can relax for 24 hrs!!!
