Kim's Fitness Diary =)

OKkk soooo this is my first entry of my fitness diary!..2nd day of low carb diet . starting weight: 130 lbs
and i did pretty good today =)
Went to sub at BCSS and of course i have to be put in a class who is going to applebees greatttttt...
12ish
-salad
-chicken fingers
-a few fries =) bad
- a bite of brownie bad bad

around 4
- grilled salmon
- spinach
oooo ya babbbyyy

snack some almonds/walnuts
Its 7...trying not to eat for the rest of the day...

exercise: running after/ kissing children lol...na i plan on doing some abs and squats in a few well see how that goes...= /
 
welll silent ur ex must have been pretty wonderfully amazing haha!na just playinggggg! =p

and tony my overally plan is basically to lose 5lbs and tone my abs and lift my butt


- and i did end up exercising last nite so yeyyy..15 min abs and some squats =)
 
Welcome to the forum. You might get more results with a full body workout, one that hits each muscle from different angles. Cross training is a good thing.

I am glad to see that you started a diary, I am interested in seeing your results, workouts, meals, etc. 'cause I have similar goals ( I also want to lose 5 pounds or so, and get tight thighs, butts and tummy :) ). So I will be here cheering for you and getting motivated by your progress.

So I have a question. You said you've worked out on and off for a while, but like what kind of exercises did you used to do (weight lifting, aerobics, running, ? ) I asked because I think that you have a very nice body already, so I am just wondering how you got it :D .

well i used to go to a gym and i mosty did cardio (on the bike or treadmill ) 15 each or 30 and then id do weight machines for my legs and just regular crunches for my abs w/ that little metal thingy that you can move around on the floor that helps w/ the crunch...
then i stopped going to the gym then i started again and i did more classes usally ab and leg classes .not so much aerobic..i tried once and i was such a lost messs haha! For my b-day in august last summer i asked my mom to get me a treadmill cause i realized i go to the gym for a month n stop even tho i joined for six lol... she got me it early so i could get in shape for summer tho n now ive just been goin on the treadmill n doing ab exercises and lunges/squats on and off since summer....it has been off for a whileeee tho haha..

Thanks so much!! Def keep me updated in ur progress too..and ill do my best in trying to motivate u as well =)...were gonna do this girl lol!!

and for my question..wut kinda diet/ workout plan r u on now??

-lunch 12:30
10 low fat perdue chicken nuggs
salad
-2
small bag low cal smartfood white cheddar popcorn
-3
2 hershey kisses ( on my period..u kno i hadda!)
-4
2 little handfuls of walnuts
few almonds
some strawberries

-5:30 din din
some thin slices of london broil and grilled asparagus

-8
handful of walnuts
tuna fish



i def ate wayyyy to many walnuts today cause they have so much fat in them...ick ick...im gonna take measurements tommorrow

didnt do any exercises tonight but gonna do abs/legs ina lil..i wanna do cardio today but my treadmills down the basement and its like an icebox down there i wish it would get warm!!
 
Well, to answer your question about workout or diet plan, let me start by saying that I am a mess at the moment. :) . But this is what I am doing.

· First, I track what I eat. I have been using the software Fitday. Most people here recommend it. I’ve been doing this for 5 weeks and it has helped me to be accountable for what I eat, and to understand better what I am eating. You should check it out.
· I am trying to eat 40-40-20 (Protein-Carbs-Fats). At the moment, I’ve accomplished it only a few times, but I’m doing around a 30-45-25. I am getting there …I think. At least, I know what I am supposed to eat to get there J I just have to do it. I don’t know what is the best percentage combination, I am learning myself, but that is what I am trying to accomplish (Not sure if it is good or not, I am still reading a lot around this forum)


And that is pretty much all I am doing, because my understanding is that eating right is the number one thing to lose fat, and I want to lose fat, so I have to get together the diet part. I hope to start exercising soon, I really like the gym, but I cannot sign up now and I don’t like to run and etc. but I have to stop the excuses and exercise however I can now :) . I also want to drink enough water. Everybody in the forum talks about drinking enough water, and I have to start doing that, but I hate going to the bathroom so often, but well…..

It’s good that you use a treadmill, I don’t know how to make myself walk, or run, or use a treadmill, I get bored :( . I know …excuses :) . And I feel you about being cold in the basement I don’t like exercising when I am cold, well actually I don’t like cold weather at all :) . But we can do it right? So just get some nice warm clothes or maybe a litter heater for the basement. ? :)

cool that sounds good..and omg u sound just like me! thats the exact same reason i dont like drinking so much water cause i pee every 5 min. its tortureee..also i hate to run too and dont worry i am bored as hell on the treadmill =) and i also hateeee cold weather im alwayssss cold ...but yes we are def gonna help eachother cause we have the same goals and the same opinions soooo i luv u lol!

i kno but i really cant..everytime i eat any type of breakfast i have to poopy =) ..sometimes i even have to go when i brush my teeth from the taste of the toothpaste...maybe ill try having like a halfa cup of cereal or somethin
 
ok sooo havent posted in a few days..weekend i did bad well not terrible but i ate reeses peices and my b/f knows wut happens when i do this..i eat the bag and not that little bag the biggg bag..cause i dont feel full and i just keep wanting them and then i feel sick and throw up...so at least that got rid of some calories ! =)

anyways..i have a bad cold now so im not feeling as hungry...

the new things ive added to my diet are sugar free jello ick. hate jello ...and cottage cheese w/ some splenda n cinnamon pretty good and only 1 gram of fat and 3 carbs per serving ( 1/2 cup)

Dont remember what i ate monday..but i did workout treadmill for 30...

Tues:
breakfast- 3 saltines coffee
lunch-chicken drumstic
salad
cottage cheese
coffee
snack- jello
dinner- cottage cheese

exercise: treadmill 30 min ( interval ) abs/ legs squats/ lunges

Wendes:
breakfast- 1 egg and jello
lunch- coldcuts( few peices roast beef,turkey, american cheese)
dinner- 2 peices chicken
salad
exercise- none yet possible treadmill but feeling very ick and asthma acting up but def. abs maybe some lunges

i think i lost a pound =)! 129 yey
 
hiya kimmie! Welcome to the forum:) I know what you mean about getting bored on the treadmill. I used to be able to do the elliptical every morning and not get bored with it, but ugh, not anymore! If it wasnt for cardio classes at my gym, I would be a giant mess! ;)
