Kimmyluna's Weight Loss Diary

Congrats on the weight you've already lost since joining up!

It may sound odd to drive somewhere to go walk, but given where you live I'm betting there's some beautiful scenery to be had within a reasonable driving distance. Would do much to cut down on any boredom you might experience. I really like walking as a sort of supplemental/fundamental form of exercise. I think it's great because it's what we as humans ought to be doing a lot more of than we often do. It's as basic to our evolutionary background as eating and procreating.

Keep up the great work.

Thanx, MrVee for stopping by my diary and thanx for the gratz! I am happy I have decided to want to lose weight again. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and a few swampy areas so there is some beautiful scenery. Changed my walk route, so I would get some different scenery today!

I want to start adding some inspirational pictures on here to keep us motivated! Hope you like them.

Sounds like you're doing really well. I wish I lived where it's nice and sunny! It got really cold this weekend (feeling like -50 with the wind chill) so I didn't get any walking done. I also ate bad, so there's that. I'd walk every day if I lived down there!

I can't even imagine drinking that much coffee. Is it the flavor you like? There might be some coffee flavored gum out there lol. I dislike hot drinks, my vice is Red Bull.

Calorie counting can be fun, especially using certain websites.

Keep it up! You're inspiring :)

Hi, Loch! That is definitely one big reason why I like FL so much is the (always) nice weather. Even winter it might get down to 40 or so at night. Yeah, I do like the taste of coffee a lot. Actually I have recently been able to limit it two cups of day and cut out the sugar and milk and only put non-dairy creamer in it. I know I should have the milk, instead, but I like the extra creaminess of the creamer.

Oh, we are going to be getting a new car tomorrow. Finally was able to save up enough for the down payment. It's going to be an HHR...looks like half van/half suv. Glad we were finally able to get one.

So, I've been keeping my calories to about 1300-1500 calories a day with a daily walk of at least 60 min., low impact aerobics for at least 30 min., and strength training for 30 min. It's been working so far, so hopefully it'll keep working! I want to get a fitness stepper for my birthday that is coming up in June. You can burn something like 700 calories in a 60 min workout!

So, Wednesdays seems to be the trend when I want to take my rest days for the last couple of weeks. So, all I did today was a 30 min low impact aerobic session. That's okay, because the library doesn't have any storytimes on Wednesdays, so it would just be a trip to see if I want to get any different books. I usually just pick up some toddler books for Tristan, though. Don't have time to read anymore. Well, I did try getting some books for myself and the hubby to read, but I haven't really cracked it open yet. And the hubby is like ALWAYS at work, except for a couple of hours at night and an hour in the morning.
