kicking off with some jump rope

I'm planning to start off my cardio training with some jump rope

can anybody help me with how to go about it

the last time i tried it i could do approx 100 skips

i already started some jump rope practice about 30 as part of my warm up
i want to reach 200+

my workout are every alternate day, though now i plan to split my lower body and upper body routine
so it should go something like this
sun/mon- upper / lower
wed- off
thur/fri- upper / lower
sat- off

i intend to put the cardio with the upper body workout

1.Is one day enough cos im not really looking for a weight loss(i am quite thin)

2.also what the best way to do jump ropes any tips most welcome

3.are there any ways to to increase the difficulty level

thank you

I have a weighted jump rope if you'd like it. In general, jumping is pretty hard on the kneees so you'd want to do it pretty effectively.
