Well tonight I joined this forum with a little Idea... I'm finally going to get rid of those annoying 25 Lbs I've been Lugging around!!

SW- 155

GW- 130 and efffin seexyyy

Hella Yahhh! this could be fun... and horrible at the same time...I know every day won't be a good one :)

Stay tuned...I'm pretty pumped! I just need to stay that way!

So yesterday... Sunday March first I decided would be Day 1 of my little
self-challenge. these are my goals...
Basically I want to...
- Lose 25 Lbs
- Be toned and fit and Really improve on my fitness testing
- Develop better eating habits
- Actually Finish Something I start!!!

Start Date: Sunday March 1st
Deadline: Monday June 1st

So I'm looking to lose 8.33 Lbs A month... which I think is totally realistic!

Start Weight- 155 Lbs
Goal Weight- 130 Lbs

I've Decided to weigh and measure myself only once a month (on the First of the month) Which is going to be HARD.. but I need to get over the scale and that's prob the best way to do it :p
I will post measurements once I take them!!

Ok So little workout update...

Monday- 40 min steady state Cardio on the Eliptical. Resistance was 25-35 and Incline 5-10 (doesn't go higher than 10) I also threw in some walking lunges (my favorite!) and ab work cause' I had the time.

Tuesday- Upper Body Strength Training and also two 10 minute bouts on the eliptical to keep myself sweating :ack2: Resistance was 25-30 and Incline 5-10

My arms are a little sore form yesterday..lol... but thats good! :rotflmao:

Today Is Lower Body Strength!

Ok so this is what my plan will be like for the next little while (until I get bored...lol)
I'll be alternating week 1 and week 2

Week 1

Mon- Upper Body Strength Training + Warmup Cardio
Tues- Cardio Intervals
Wed- Lower Body Strenth Training + Warmup Cardio
Thurs- Steady Sate Cardio
Fri- Upper Body Strength Training + Warmup Cardio
Sat- Cardio Intervals
Sun- REST DAY!!!

Week 2

Mon- Lower Body Strength Training + Warmup Cardio
Tues- Steady Sate Cardio
Wed- Upper Body Strength Training + Warmup Cardio
Thurs- Cardio Intervals
Fri- Lower Body Strength Training + Warmup Cardio
Sat- Steady State Cardio
Sun- REST DAY!!!

Now I just have to stick to it!:seeya:

To start with. Welcome to the forum.

Looks like you got yourself a good start. Hope everything works out for you in the end. Can't wait to see some pictures of that, (how did you say it) "130 and efffin seexyyy". I'll be rooting you on.

I like your thinking on only weighing once a month. Wish I could do that. I'm on that damn thing everyday hope to see losses. But the only difference is that I have to weigh in every 2 weeks for a biggest loser contest here where I work.

Thanks for the encouragement! I've posted some befores and I'm thinking that I'll do updates when I weigh myself on the 1st of each month.. Yes... the scale ends up frusturating me more than anything!! I was on it every day too for awhile but my weight fluxes like crazy so it was just pissing me off...lol... Good luck with your journey as well! I'll be looking for updates too :)
 
Thought I should do a little update since I've been MIA the last week!
I actually did all six workouts on my week one plan!!!! Yeahhhhh!! Feeling good for sure... I started on week two yesterday and today will be cardio... blaahhh boring but it's got to be done :)

though I would throw up some measurements.. I did these today.. I was supposed to on the first of the month but Whatever!!! So here they are... I have actually lost a bit from the first of the month... I broke my only weighing myself once a month rule....LOL...(rules are MEANT to be broken.. right?) I think I can deal with twice a month.. heheh..

Chest- 35
Biceps- Left- 11.5 Right- 11.5
Forearms- Left- 10 Right- 9 3/4
Waist - 26.5
Hips- 33.5
Backside (lol)- 38
Thighs- Left- 21 3/4 Right- 21 3/4
Calves- Left- 13 3/4 Right 13 3/4
Weight- 151.3 LBS (yee yee!!)

Oh god... I'm dying to weight myself...lol... but I know It will just bother me...haha thats ok! 11 days until next weigh in... I'm really hoping to see that 8 LBS gone that I'm shooting for! I'm going to really have to bust my ass these next few days!

So April 1st.. I'm hoping for 147...ekk.. IT"S GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!
