the weekend was crazyyy..had a very big gatherin at in laws..20 people

not counting the kids hehe..8 kids actually,,,just counted

..2 hour drive from our place..i was supposed to make 2 food items..so i cooked at home and packed everything and we left home in the morning, enjoyed the lunch, had a good time with relatives and came back in the evening...there was so much do to..mom in law has ample help..3 maids to be precise heheh..i found managing them was more difficult than doing everythin on your own

there was chaos

but everything was delicious and we managed to please everyone somehow

as Lama said, food is never out of context..i made the so-called russian salad..with so much cream n mayo..lol.fruit cocktail, raisins, apples, grapes pineapple,,you name it

and made chicken tikka shashlik on skewers

again, a tempered recipe

i was glad that it was the biggest hit of the day

people wr asking for the recipe

other items we fried fish, chapal kabab, pulao rice with beef, mutton kadahi, vegetable patties and samosas..
dessert: kheer, pakistani sweets (u may not be familiar with halwa, gulab jaman, ras gula and barfi im sure

) and yummy pastries of almost every flavor that i could find in the bakery hehehe...coffee, chocolate, black forest, pineapple etc etc..and the tea off course..
ufff..i must have had over 2500cal yesterday..coz the things we very calorie rich..no exercise..coz by the time we came back, i was too tired to stand up

i did try to warm up i swear,,but couldnt even jog in place ;P
should i start over the 60 days challenge today???,or just make up for the missed days and move on???
oh so overall it was a very unhealthy day

i ate a little bit of everything
