khan's weight loss ambition

Yay for supportive partners! Plus of course it´s fun to have someone to work out with in general. Good luck :)

haha..keep trying Stacy..it took me more than a week to get him on board,lol..tried everything :p he didnt wanna leave his gym,,so now he decided to hit the gym for a shorter period and then come home and take the jillian michael's exercises with me before dinner :D or we can switch the workout timing to the early morning when the kids are asleep,,lets see..

hi..so finally started the workout yesterday..it was tough..but doable. my hubby had 2 leave after 20min to babysit the kids..lol..he didn enjoy it much..so now ill be doing it alone..and he will be with the kids and will keep them busy while i workout..
im doing good today..not too much pain in the muscles..yesterday i did 70 squats for the november squat challenge and lol, the bodyshred workout had many moreeee for me..so i ended up doing more than 150 squats yesterday..
today i havent done any..a busy day today..winters r here in full blast..im just trying to move the summer/autumn clothes outav the closets..too many closets to clean up ;p hubby's mine and kids' ...just got free to post on the forum..
had half a cup of creamy cappuccino today..was feeling guilty so left the half of it..good for me..

gonna make spinach and beef curry today..need 2 knead the flour too..will catch up later n read all the subscribed threads..good luck to all of us

150 squats??? Wow! Spinach and beef curry sounds lovely, shame I haven´t got the time and patience to cook more elaborate meals. The cold has arrived here as well, I needed gloves this morning, but at least it´s lovely and sunny.

hiiiiiiiiiii..omg the 2nd day was just too much for me..the workout is getting tougher..this time not many squats but mannnn this lady is gonna kill me,,lol..its called as Rise, workout 2...better than yesterday..harder than yesterday..i skipped the last 10 or 5 seconds of the last 2 circuits..hopefully ill be able to improve tomorrow..tomorrow will be newww exercises..so thats something i look forward to..
today just about 50-60 squats...but the planks and weight lifting duringgg planks,,omg..that was tough..i can feel pain in each n every muscle of my body right now..its workinggg yeyyy..2 down 58 to go..yeyyyy...IA
the curry was good but i ate 4-5 bites..i made a bowl of desi fruit salad with low fat yogurt :) didnt feel like eatin anything heavy after the exercise..another plus point of this workout :D
will try to follow the meal plan but again, its not easy to find all the ingredients rrom the nearby market..2ndly i have to keep conventional stuff in my fridge in case some guests visit me..which is a normal routine thing here,lol..guest every other day or week :p..last but not the least, cant let my kids forget the taste of local pakistani cuisine hahah..they wont eat anything when we visit their granparents..whichi is again, very often..after all this is pakistan :p you must either live with your in laws or visit them frequently :p..so i dont think i can completely follow jillian michael's diet..but will try :)
thanks 4 followin my dairy..u guys give me the motivation i need...
all the best to all of us
c ya tomoro :D

hahaha..its winter here n this exercise makes me sweat like anything..my husband was telling the kids when i finished my workout,,that heyyy look mommy looks like a Chatrali girl :p..Chitral = the place where the world's highesttt polo ground is :p northern areas of pakistan..you play golf Cate, so i thought that might interest you :p the people are so pink up there..high altitude = more HB = pinkish reddish complexion..
We used to live in a condo situated right next to a beautiful golf course in Malaysia..like 2 n a half years and i never played Golf..what a pity..but i used to watch people play it..i love watching sports..playing as well..but im just good at table tennis :)
oh that reminds me i have one in the basement, lol.i should clean it up and assemble it..havent played even once since we moved back here..hubby is a very good player of table tennis..i always lose..but still,it could be a good workout on the rainy weekends..

I really don´t understand how people enjoy watching sports without participating :) But to each their own! Great work turning up the heat on your body when it´s getting cold.

hahaha yeah..i love to anticipate whats next in a sport..its such an addiction..gives me adrenaline rush :p..haha..there are not many girls/women who like and watch sports the way i do..the guys can understand better
what its like to be a sports fan ;P

Hm, not sure I´d agree with that; two of my sisters are major sports fans and so are several of my (female) friends. I just never caught the bug.

wow wish i had just one such female around me:p..im so unlucky that even my husband doesnt follow any kind of sports haha..hes also not the type who enjoys watching a match :p so i watch alone..just finished watching a tennis match, in bits n pieces..while cooking dinner and feeding the kids..Roger Federer Vs John Isner..and aahhh Federer lost..so im a little sad right now ..u will not even get why people get sad when someone else loses hahah

:) I do actually, I have on rare occasions been able to pick a side passionately and then it does get extremely exciting! And quite terrible if they lose, of course. Maybe that´s why I refuse to watch sports: I don´t have any influence on the outcome so I can get really frustrated :p I guess I don´t deal too well with strong emotions of any kind. I live life in the slow lane and enjoy the view...

These days I live alone so I get to avoid sports alltogether. But I have been known to get fanatic about anything from volleyball and rowing through to basketball and deadlifting. O, and even cultural obligations like soccer.

ns- I was always really sporty(participated in every sport I could) when I was young & love Golf, AFL football, cycling(especially Le Tour De France) athletics(esp. the Olympics) test cricket & Soccer but there is just too much of it on TV. Test cricket at least is only on during the day. Even if I wasn't with G I would watch some of it. I try to be more interested as G gets so excited about it all. It's good that you love watching sport on TV. I wish I did more!

I would just like to pipe in and say the only sport I've gotten worked up over in recent memory is ultimate fighting. Which is a little out of character but I just can't help myself.

haha wow..all of you are more experienced players than i ever was :p..n lol the cultural obligation LaMa :p..true..here its Cricket haha..u musttt play or watch Cricket i you are a Pakistani..or indian..:p
but again, the girls dont have equal opportunities to participate in sports here..secondly, its a cultural thing i guess that most of them are just not interested in sports..i loved to participate and did as long as i could at school and college..but since then, all i can do to quench my thirst for sports is to play table tennis at home haha or watch it on tv :D another reason i wanted my kids to be raised somewhere else..where they can become sportsman..here, all the emphasis is on EDUCATION..which is good but eventually you become a vegetable ;s seriously..you stop being active once you are past your childhood, and then health issues start surfacing for inactive people as early as in their 30s..im the only female in my family who goes to gym or hiking or takes exercise on n off..
Cate you watch cricket, so hope that explains why our fielders are that lousy and cant even dive or catch the ball properly hahaha..we dont even have proper play grounds here..and one cant learn t dive while playing cricket in the streets :p..u get hurt very bad when u hit the concrete roads hehe :p
