Kez tries again!!!

Kez your post is so full of achievements!! It is fantastic to see the way you have gotten yourself back on track and stayed there, despite pressures that could easily have pushed someone off.

One thing I like about your pictures is that they show how much difference 7 pounds can make. We often talk about how weight loss can become slower and more difficult as we get closer to our goal weights but your pics illustrate that this is somewhat balanced by the fact that the loss also becomes far more evident. When I saw your pics it reminded me that the numerically smaller losses are a lot bigger if you consider them as a proportion of your overall body weight and can be visible in a very nice way!! (Especially on someone young and lovely like you! :)) Anyway it was an encouragement that I hadn't really considered in that way before - thanks for posting them. :)

Yes Felici makes a great point. There's a big chunk of us on this forum who put on 5-8 pounds this week (Hopefully mostly sodium). We didn't think much of it, but you show what even 7 pounds can do.

And yesterday, I ran for 20 minutes on the treadmill without stopping! (That was approx 2.8km, or 1.7 miles.) The longest I've ever run before (or since my childhood at least) is about 8 minutes at a time. Usually I try to run at 10kph, on a 1.5% incline. But for my 20 min stint I started out at 9.5kph and 1% incline, and by the time I'd finished I'd taken it down to 9kph and 0%, it was tough!! I feel so proud that I did it though, it's a bit achievement for me!

:) :jump: :) :jump: :hug2: :hug2:

SO happy for you! Keep it up, it only gets easier!! Trust me!!!

Kez... Oh my God! This is the first time I've gotten to see those pics. The results are amazing! Your abdomen looks so toned and flattened! It's truly mind-boggling how much difference 7 lbs can make. You look fabulous. And don't let any stupid swim suit tell you differently. ;)

Hey Kezzy, I hope you're having a good visit. The end of university is a sad time, but those are the friends who last a lifetime (In my experience).

Thanks!!

Quick question- does anyone know how can I stop getting email updates from these diaries? It is very annoying!!! I have tried before and failed

I'll update properly later :)

You can change that by selecting the threads in you subscribed threads folder (the check box on the far right of each thread line) and choosing "No email notification" in the "Selected threads..." drop box below all the threads (on orange background).
You see the status of the notification in the "Notification" column after each thread in your subscribed threads list.
I hope this helps. :)
Have a wonderful week!
Julie

I know I posted a comment in the pictures section as well, but you look beautiful and that is an amazing 7 lb. difference. Thanks for posting KezzyPear!

I think Kez is off on the giant overseas trek. Walking heaps and eating something healthy I hope :) (not sitting in a car eating junk like I just did!)

I hope you're having lots of fun, Kez!!
