keepitoff83's diary!

Hi Priti!

Just checking in to see how you're doing and to apologize for the long absence from your diary and the forum.

I see you're going on great, don't worry about losing slowly. Slowly but steady is my motto :)

Have a nice day!

I have been wondering the same thing. I hope you're doing well, and that your absence is just due to being busy at work. :grouphug:

Hi Priti

Where are you? I hope that you are ok and just busy. Remember to post your weight in Summer Solstice today - I would hate you to get eliminated.

Take care
Love

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting while I was "away." I just had a really bad two weeks where I basically worked 14-16 hour days and didn't have the energy to do anything. Needless to say I didn't exercise much besides the standing I did all day at work. Luckily, my weight didn't go up too much and as of this morning, I was 121.0. My eating actually has been horrible but I guess I haven't eaten as much due to time issues.

I appreciate all the support even though I haven't been very active. Now that I am done with the hardest part of my year, I'm ready to get back on track. I feel like I've kind of failed a bit, but hopefully I can prove myself wrong. I am actually about to head down to my gym to start out by doing 30 minuts on the elliptical and then some strength training. Hopefully I haven't fallen off my path and it was just a bad couple weeks! Thanks for all the support! I will be visiting everyone's diaries and catchig up this weekend!

Hi Priti

I am so pleased that you are ok. We all know how busy you are. It is great that your weight hasnt gone up after eating badly. Maybe being rushed off your feet at work counted as some good exercise!

You must feel really good to have the hardest part of the year behind you. Maybe you will be able to find some more time for you now. We all deserve the luxury of putting ourselves first at times.

Take care
Love

It certainly does sound like you're still on your path and it's very good to know that you're still around.

So, I worked out yesterday and the day before. Both days I did 30 min elliptical and then about a half hour of ST. Today, I am hoping to up the cardio a bit, even if it's only to 35 minutes. I am going to make a goal of working out at least five hours a week.

Unfortunately, my weight this morning was up a bit at 122.1. I wish I didn't have to weigh myself every day b/c it starts to frustrate me seeing the daily changes.....but I'm too addicted. However, I do only weigh myself right in the morning so I don't go crazy all day as my weight increases from food intake!

So far for breakfast I had a fiber one bar. I am hoping to stay at around 1400-1500 calories/day, so I'll be tracking on fit day once again. Also, I always had a problem with too much sodium and not drinking enough water, so hopefully I'll get btter with that as I track everything.

Anyway, off to go do some reading. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Kimberly: I am glad I'm still around too! When you kind of stop doing something, it's so easy to fall off track. I was glad to come back on here once I was done w/ my surgery test/rotation!

Margaret: I was really surprised when I weighed myself to see that I hadn't gone up. Even though I wasn't eating well or working out, I still weight myself almost every day, and was always surprised that I wasn't gaining weight. I bet that's wht made it easier for me to continue to not workout and just eat whatever I wanted. I'm sure I lost a bit of muscle and converted it to fat and that's why my weight didn't go up. Hopefully I'll take care of that soon!

Felici: Thanks for visiting! I am hoping I get back on the path soon. Before surgery, I was at a point where I felt awful if I ate poorly and didn't work out.....I want to be there again!

The fact that you have got straight back into the swing of doing exercise is a really good sign. I am sure that you will start seeing improvements very quickly. I havent done any exercise with my handweights during the past week and a half and I can see my upper arms looking more flabby already. I am sure that it will all come back when my exercise gets back to normal (I have been thinking about this) and am sure that the same will be the case for you too.

I think that the pleasure that you get from seeing visible improvements will drive you towards putting in the effort that it takes to eat healthily.

Congrats on getting back into the swing of things. Sodium is a real bitch, let me tell ya. :biggrinjester: I've been consuming far too much of it lately.

I definitely think the visible improvements are what keep me motivated. Hopefully once I achieve those goals, I will continue it all for the health reasons :). I can imagine the frustration with your arms getting "flabbier," esp since it was all out of your control. But you're right, you'll be as good as new soon! Thanks for visiting!

Thanks! I'm excited to be eating right and working out again! I think I've gotten my sodium down to below 2500 a day. Im also drinking lots of water, so we'll see how my weight does!

Worked out Fri-Mon and took yesterday off. Weighed 121.0 this morning, not bad. I have been eating around 1500 cals a day and keeping my sodium pretty low. Hopefully I'll get down to my goal weight by the end of May!!!!!!!!!

Well done for getting back into the swing of things and keeping at it. I know that you will see those visible improvements soon.

It must be wonderful to be so near your goal weight. You are right - one good month and you could well be there.

Just a quick reminder to post your weight on summer solstice. If we all post - it could mean that no-one gets eliminated.

I hope that you are ok. You are MIA again. I prefer to think of you having a romantic break with that boyfriend of yours than working hard and not getting any personal time.

Another quick reminder to post your weight on summer solstice. If we all post - it could mean that no-one gets eliminated.

Yes, b/c I will probably be the one eliminated. :smilielol5:

I also hope you're having fun with the bf and not working yourself too hard. :)
