hi. im 17 years old.im 5foot 9inchs im 13 and a half stone. rougly 85kg. i would like to loose 1.5 to 2 stone.i have no actual timeframe to loose this but im sick of being fat. im not sure how i want to accomplish my goal. i want to learn to eat healthy and stay motivated to train each day.i dont think i have anybody who can support me. maybey my mother who buys the food lol.i would say my goal is very realistic seeing as 2stone isnt a whole lot to ask for is it?i will start right away.

im need some advice first on what to eat and not. my main problem is motivation.

You'll find a lot of support here. I'm in the same boat, I don't have much for support. My mom also does the shopping, but now I go with her. My boyfriend knows I'm trying to lose weight, but that's about as far as support goes with him. In the end, I really only have myself, but this forum has already given me so much motivation.

I find that by going through the dairies, and looking at the "Before & After" forum, seeing people's success can really help. I often think about what I'll look like after I lose weight. I think of a favorite outfit I've always wanted to wear, and things I've wanted to do.

If you ever feel down, or that you want to give up, come here and post! Someone will tell you that it's okay to feel down. This is a journey we're all going through in our own ways. If you keep your chin up, anything is possible.

By the way, for me, I find counting calories has helped so much. I figured out how many I should have a day (1600), and then I make sure not to have more than that. Some people use a treat day, as well, so they don't go crazy with cravings. Also, even a short walk once a day can help!
 
thanks. i gave you rep for that. my sleeping shedule is kinda all mixed up at the moment seeing as its summer. so i usually miss breakfast seeing as im awake till like 2 or 3 in the morning and up at 12 in the day. i will try and excercise everyday and not eat such bad food. i need something that will get me off the fatty food. thanks
 
I'm such a busy person, I only give myself an hour to get ready for work after I wake up. It was hard for me to get into the habit of eating breakfast. You should look into some instant oatmeal, or cereal. It's quick, and even just a cup will get you going. Breakfast kicks your metabolism into gear, it will help you in the long run :). I also used to eat a banana or an apple. Something is better than nothing!

Try not to take on too much. I tried to exercise 5 days a week. I burnt myself out. It's okay to do 3x a week, alternate to give your body a break between days. Once you get into better shape you can work your way up ^^.
 
ok so today wasnt 2 bad. i woke up really late today because i sometimes work at night or stay up anyway. i had my breakfast at 1pm. i had cereal and a pint of water. i then went to the gym. didnt work myself as hard today. also went to the pool and sauna.i had my dinner in the evening and i had an icescream cone. it didnt go so bad. check out the pics i put up in the before section
 
ok im not eating as much junk food as i was which is ok. im drinking alot of water. taking a break for the weekend then back to work this week
 
this isnt going 2 well. my sleep pattern is screwed.i dont even get a breakfast most mornings. i cant eat anything healthy.i need 2 keep motivated..i need help. i was thinking of seeing a dietition who specializes in this type of problems
 
Why can't you eat anything healthy? Is it a matter of not knowing what to eat, or are healthy things making you sick?
