You are doing great! Walking is great exercise...they say most French women don't play sports or work out but walk everywhere and are thin. I'm not sure if that is true or not....and there has to be fat french women but anyway walking is good. I remember when I was younger I would walk everywhere, no gym, no sports and I was in good shape! I love walking too!
 
Hi all,
Today was going good for me until I got home.I walked in and the person the court system call my husband:mad: Said to me "Hay I can tell you are loosing a little bit of tonnage! Pretty soon we can take the WIDE LOAD sign of your A double S! " OK, what the H E L L?
Is this normal? Do you guys have to deal with this? It could be funny, But I don't think it is! because I am really trying and very serious about getting healthy. It's like getting a hug and thin a slap in the face:(
Any way I ate about the same as yesterday with more carrots and I walked 1.25 miles tonight(to get out of the house).:rolleyes:

I think that's pretty rude, did you tell him that you didn't appreciate what he said, and it hurt your feelings?? :(

I know its easier said than done, but try not to let it get to you. Keep your head up and do what you have to do.
 
Are you kidding me!? So not funny! :mad: I think I would've popped them in the face! That is totally what he deseves!!! Oh that makes me mad...I swear if I lived in your town I'd track him down...:D

Keep on it gf! Even he is noticing the change in you! :) :D

Yes I told him what was on my mind. But I had to keep it to a PG rating because of my daughter was in the room. I try not to listen to him any more. Because when I loose any weight he pats him self on the back. Talking about how if he wasn't so hard on me about my weight, I wouldn't be doing anything about it. No wonder I could sit down and eat a cheese cake or a can of pringles in one sitting :) But on the other hand he did tell me about this forum site. And I know in my heart,That I am doing it for ME! So thank you for the support. I know you have my back, And you help me stay sane.

I hope I wasn't too hard on him. LOL I'm going to edit my post a little. Really though that was just mean of him in my opinion...but it is great that he helped you find this place!!! :)

I had a banana, Yogurt,Turkey sandwich on hole wheat, carrots, and some weird casserole my husband made with ground beef, cream of mushroom and pees in it-It was OK :rolleyes: all my water(Like a good girl)
I'm going on my walk now. Have a good weekend!
 
PG or R rated, I'm glad you told him how you felt. That was a rude thing to say to anyone, let alone the person you're MARRIED to!

Seriously, you deserve to be treated with more respect, and I hope you tell him.

Good for you for doing so well, and that is very cool that your boss will look into getting a treadmill! That is VERY nice :D
 
Today I wanted to be different on eating so:
Big glass of water with my vitamins, and 2 cups of coffee with milk only
Breakfast- 1 cup of oatmeal with milk only
Lunch-1/2 a Turkey sandwich(hole wheat bread, Turkey, mustard only, sprouts,tomatoes) diet soda
Dinner- meatloaf and peas
Walked at the park too. thats it, Lazy Saturday at home
 
To day was good for me I walked after work and drank all of my water.
Breakfast- 1 cup of Special K cereal with non fat milk
Lunch-1/2 a Turkey sandwich(hole wheat bread, Turkey, mustard only, sprouts,tomatoes) diet soda
Snack -Carrots and 5 wheat thins
Dinner- one cup of Whole wheat pasta and 1/4 cup of sauce with corn:)
 
Today I had a Boo Boo It was going good until dinner.
Breakfast: Yogurt and 8am-banana at 11am
Lunch: sandwich-whole wheat,Turkey,mustard,sprouts and tomato
Snack: carrots(I sound like a broken record up to this point)
Dinner: spicy chicken sandwich from Carl's JR. with no mayo!
(thats what I did wrong!)
So I went on a walk and that made me feel better! 1.25 miles:)
And I drank lots of water

You ate a spicy chicken sandwich from Carl's JR - I hope it was good! ;) We all have out vices! I know now that you have these cravings for fast food - who can blame you with all the ads plastered/played everywhere! It all takes time to get rid of these bad habits. I have the coffee and sometimes beer or wine! :( Empty calories but I think I'm doing okay in other areas.

You are doing just great. I know you will lose that urge for fast food soon!

PS - I really need to get one of walking step measuring things!
